A reflex core allows 2" bits to flex up to 15-degrees to reduce breakage. These bits are a part of the 10X Magnetic Screw Lock System for fastener retention which minimizes drops and reduces wobbling. Impact ready bits with Flexor have increased durability for longer life.

Works Great
It works great. Especially useful when using self drilling screws.Some have mentioned it only works with Dewalt bits; I only have Dewalt bits, so I can’t attest to that. My bits are about 2.25” in length as measured, but I don’t know what the package said when I purchased them.Note that you cannot set the bit to the furthest position inside the chuck on a standard drill. That will cause the device to push too far forward and not allow full engagement to the screw. Some have complained it doesn’t leave enough of the bit exposed. In my use that was only possible with user error, but different bit brands/lengths possibly cause this issue as well.Also, I found this very easy to remove and attach to a different bit. Just pull some tension while twisting back and forth. There are spring loaded detent balls for retention.Good stuff and highly recommend.
