These do a great job of getting muck out of the pool, and last for ages if you (a) get the worst out by putting a fabric pool sock over the pool outlet and (b) give them a good clean with the most powerful setting on your hose! I find a soak in cheap baby bottle steriliser solution gets them nice and white again too... One or two of these filters easily last the whole season.

I used these with my Intex filter they do a brilliant job of collecting all the slim and sludge and bits of hair etc. Make sure when your fitting them that you line the blue ring with the corresponding lip at the bottom of your filter and push down gently. The lid closes pushing the filter into place as you tighten the lid up.

Prima di acquistarlo su Bolo, mi sono sempre rifornito allo store del cinese vicino casa, ogni volta filtri di marche sconosciute ma mai l'originale. Non mi sono mai posto il problema se non che duravano effettivamente poco e con scarsi risultati, ma dopo aver utilizzato questo ricambio Intex la differenza in termini di efficacia è stata più che evidente.La caratteristica che fondamentalmente fa la differenza sono gli anelli blu di materiale plastico (sembra però gomma dura) che racchiudono la membrana filtrante di cartone. Come si vede in foto, la parte centrale dell'anello è più sottile e morbida, come il silicone, questo permette al filtro di aderire perfettamente sia al bocchettone di entrata dell'acqua pulita all'interno della pompa, che al tappo con valvola nel coperchio superiore (vd foto).In pratica l'acqua sporca ha un unico passaggio obbligato: viene risucchiata dall'esterno all'interno del filtro mediante il motore della pompa posto alla base.Le cartucce commerciali hanno gli anelli in plastica dura e non sono perfettamente aderenti, infatti a suo tempo notavo che lo sporco non si distribuiva mai in maniera omogenea: la parte di cartone che stava verso l'alto sembrava non aver mai filtrato acqua, mentre quella più vicina al bocchettone di aspirazione era visibilmente macchiata. L'acqua non attraversava tutta la superficie del filtro perché veniva aspirata solo alla base.In quanto a durata io sono del parere che dopo la prima settimana è necessaria una ripulita sotto un forte getto d'acqua, poi a seguire sempre più frequentemente per al massimo un mese di utilizzo totale prima della sostituzione. Preferisco non tribolare più come facevo prima, ero arrivato persino a rimuovere i residui di sporco tra le pieghe con uno spazzolino. A maggior ragione al costo di soli 5 euro a filtro, ovvero con circa 25 euro si acquistano i ricambi per tutta la stagione estiva.In definitiva, visto l'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, anche in relazione al costo del singolo ricambio preso dai cinesi, non posso che consigliare l'acquisto.
