My last pair having finally worn out after 22 years meant it was time for another pair of these quality comfortable yellow boots which I use regularly for everything from just out walking in the countryside or around the city, driving long distance to visiting the pub or clambering through the undergrowth and up rocky hills. Essential for active holidays without going 'full hiking gear'. Smart and presentable, great with jeans or shorts and socks. OK, so not waterproof, but they are not ruined by water either - dry them out and they are much the same. Surprisingly pleasant to walk in; I like the wide fitting which don't cramp my feet and let them breathe. Actually prefer them to purpose designed walking boots I own. The padded interior sole has improved a lot. The leather is heavyweight, identical to the materials used in my 2003 boots and was astonishingly resistant to everything I've subjected them to outdoors. Not a single stitch missing on the old ones, but the solid sole finally cracked. A few design changes in the new ones, mainly the stitching locations, lace holes and hooks, but essentially the new version is better, I think. Just as solid, should last decades again! Highly recommended, well worth the extra cost over some of the economy versions around.

Having tried two other brands of boots from Bolo at a lower price, and promptly returning them as poor fit and/or quality, I finally opted for a pair of Cat boots. I have at last found a boot of good fit and quality. I normally take a 7.5 shoe, but a Cat size 7 is a perfect fit for me. They are a bit stiff at first, but that would be expected of a new boot, however I am absolutely delighted with them.

I've bought exactly the same boot several times over the past ten years or maybe more, and every time I've replaced them they've been excellent. Having slightly wider than average feet, I find this boot fits me perfectly. It also lasts a very long time. It's my daily footwear to work and beyond. I'll have done literally hundreds of miles in the last pair over the past couple of years.I'm a jounalist and I need a boot that will look tidy in the street, at meetings or on camera, and yet is sturdy enough to keep me upright when the location work takes me onto ground that's tough, rough or boggy.The leather is excellent and if kept polished it should never crack or split. Even when the soles have worn away almost to slicks, they've refused to split or leak. The one down-side of this boot is the rubber that the sole is made of on this black boot (I don't know if the other colours are different). Although it wears well and gives excellent grip in the street, on grass and mud, or on rocks, for some reason it's very slippery on metal things like manhole covers or grates, and wet lino-type floor coverings like you'd get in the entrance to a supermarket on a wet day. Hence the four stars rather than five... and that's the only reason.The bottom line is that this one down-side is more than outweighed by the positives and, if they're still being made in a few years when I need another new pair, I'll be buying them again without hesitation. And the price can be very good too if you shop around. Full price is said to be over £110, but many places do it for about 60 per cent of this.

Comfortable right out of the box. Better than I expected. A bit slippery under foot on wet wooden decks but not any worse than any other boot. Other boots I've had were a problem when driving concerning width and pedal spacing but these are fine. They are new but the waterproofing is good so far.

Just a great boot, I am on my 3rd pair. Great for wearing out and about, or on the garden doing diy jobs. Cats seem better value than other Main Street boots in my opinion.

I have worn 6 eye boots for years. I've worn different types and they have all been exceedingly comfortable and got more comfortable the more they were worn, fitting like a glove and good for miles of walking. I've had wrangler boots, Union River boots, and a type I cant recall the brand of. Previous boots have by and large lasted for years (the wranglers still see service as gardening boots). Failure points have primarily been the sole cracking and once the black padded "collar" has detached from the boot at the rear - caused when pulling the boots on.I have been looking for a replacement for the Union River boots for a while but the prices on this style of footwear are by and large INSANE! Prices seem to be over £100 and up to £150 which I wasnt prepared to pay, then I saw these CATs on Bolo and at an eye-wateringly affordable price!I bought a pair of these CATs and have been wearing them fairly consistently since December 2012. I usually take a UK 8.5 (or a US 10.5 in running shoes) and initially ordered a UK 9 which was far too big, the UK 8 fits just fine. Indeed, I now wear orthotics in all my footwear to make up for fallen arches and these boots take the orthotics as well which raise my feet a little so I need to slacken the laces a little but the boots handle this with no problems.I got my first pair at £53.10 and am enjoying them so much I have bought a second pair to keep for when these wear out, the second pair came in at £56.03 which is still a bargain. So far a wonderful buy, no fitting problems (including the orthotics), look great, and feel good but experience tells me that they will eventually soften a little and then the real joy begins as they feel like a little piece of heaven on your feet!

J'ai commandé des Caterpillar Colorado, Bottes Chukka homme Noir Black et je reçois des Noir Nubuck avec des inscriptions jaune.Le 48 fait du 49 pour des pied de 47.5, ça flotte.Sinon, réception rapide et retour pour remboursement très efficace, tout est pris en charge.Je n'ai pas pu trouver le modèle que je voulais ici alors je suis parti ailleurs, plus cher bien sûr mais je vais recevoir le modèle que j'ai commandé.Merci de corriger pour les internautes suivants.

Je fais traditionnellement du 44, j'ai suivi les conseils en prenant du 43, et c'est parfait. Je suis bien chaussé, à l'aise, de la place pour des chaussettes chaudes... Sinon belle fabrication, robuste. Il faudra du temps pour les mettre à son pied et assouplir la tige

Falscher Tip wegen "eine Nummer kleiner bestellen"

Tja, leider habe ich auf die Tips vieler Kunden gehört und mir die Boots anstatt Gr. 45 eine Nummer kleiner in 44 bestellt. Und sie sind mir nun zu klein, genauso zu klein wie mir halt auch im Schuhgeschäft Grösse 44 nicht passen..! Schade, weil heute am 17. Dezember ist keine Chance das Ganze noch rechtzeitig vor der Weihnachtsreise umzutauschen (für die ich die Boots gebraucht hätte).
