These are excellent thinning scissors with sharp blades that make contact with eachother unlike others where there's a gap between the blades when closing. Thins out cats hair very well. I only thin both my cats hair in summer months as they have very long thick coats and it just helps a bit in the summer months. Smooth and comfortable to use, blunted end to avoid nasty accidents. Just be careful when using still as they are very sharp. Worth paying the extra, my only slight annoyance is i wish they came with a case to put them in for storing, cheaper sets have cases so would have liked to have seen one with these. I highly recommend these.

I am a professional dog groomer and only purchased these as my other expensive professional scissors were being serviced and I needed a pair quickly and didn't want to spend much on them. These scissors are not too bad! They do the job, are easy to use and have adjustable tension. You do need to adjust the tension after every groom but that's not a bother. I was surprised with how good they are for the price and am happy to keep them as a back up for emergencies.

Ok, so once you are over the shock of having to pay more than £3.00 for a pack of scissors, it is all good news from there on in! These items are excellent quality with a rarely found, almost flawless finish. We use them to cut our Bichon Frise and after 4 or 5 cuts, we are as close to a professional finish as I think it is possible for us to get. All pairs are super sharp and allow you to be very accurate. The resistance adjuster wheel is on a ratchet so once set will not change unless you want it to. Its' a little weird that I am singing the praises of a pack of scissors, but honestly, these are some of the best money I have spent in the last 12 months.

Been using these scissors for 9 months grooming my two cockspoos every 6 weeks. They started not cutting and I sharpened them but they just don't cut anymore. Disappointed.

Ces ciseaux coupent bien et la forme courbe est très pratique pour les arrondis de la silhouette du chien. Par contre, j'ai voulu couler un emballage plastique de produit anti parasites.... Le tranchant a été tordu et impossible de m'en servir de nouveau...... Cela me servira de leçon, mais quand même, ce n'était que du plastique mou et ce sont des ciseaux en métal qui devraient quand même y résister. Résultat : poubelle et je dois en racheter......
