I’ve been using this pressure cooker regularly for over a year, and I can confidently say Howkins is a solid brand, and this model lives up to that reputation. I cook everything from lentils and beans to chicken, mutton, and more, and it gets the job done quickly and efficiently. As some have mentioned, the sound of the whistle might startle kids or pets, but that’s just a common feature with pressure cookers, not specific to this one. My only complaint, which others have also pointed out, is that the edge of the cooker is quite sharp. If you're hand-washing it, be careful, as I got a couple of minor cuts in the beginning. Other than that, it’s a great product for fast cooking.

If you have small children or pet's don't buy this, every now and then when you'r cooking it would disperse out a lot of steam which will scare your little one's and pets if you have any.
