Perfect for lag-free gaming, seamless HD streaming, and rapid file transfers. Perfect for all high-bandwidth activities while being compatible with older standards like CAT6, CAT5e, and CAT5.
  • BUILT TO LAST: The CAT6A network cable features 26 AWG pure copper cores, a sturdy PVC jacket and RJ45 shielded 50µ-inch gold-plated connectors for enhanced conductivity. The injection-moulded snagless connectors offer strain relief clip protection and lasting durability to ensure reliable connection that stands up to wear and tear. The flush-moulded design enables seamless side-by-side installation in high-density network switches, maximising space efficiency without compromising connectivity.
  • IDEAL FOR HOME OR OFFICE: Compatible with computers, game consoles, routers, and network switches, our CAT6A network cable is ideal for home networks or commercial data centres. Also PoE friendly, our CAT6A cables support Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications. The S/FTP (or S/STP) (Screened & Foil Twisted Pair) design with individual pair advanced foil shielding and an overall foil screen protects against EMI (Electro-Magnetic Interference), ensuring consistent, interference-free performance.
  • LOW SMOKE ZERO HALOGEN (LSZH): The safety-focused cable jacket emits minimal toxic or corrosive gas in fire conditions - ideal for enclosed spaces. With flush moulded strain relief that supports high-density switch use and allows cable flexibility without stress on the connector. It’s RoHS Compliant, IEC 60332-1-2 certified, and 3P Verified, and complies with ISO/IEC 11801 ED.2 and ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 transmission standards for consistent, high-performance network reliability.

I’ve used Rhino Cables XLR cable for my microphone for years, so it’s a brand I trusted to get the job done.I just got a steam deck, and I really wanted to stream games smoothly from my gaming PC to the deck both independently and in dock mode. Wifi just wasn’t cutting it for that, too much interference for a consistent experience. I have 1Gbps/100Mbps ftth, using a fritzbox 7530 provided from the ISP. My fibre connection requires an ONT (Optical Network Terminal), which acts as the modem, which then runs to the Fritzbox as an advanced access point/router.Originally, I was just going to purchase a 20m and 15m cable, but I said why not replace the ethernet cable running from the ONT to the router, so I added a 3m for that and I’m glad I did.My new setup now has the 3m cable from the ONT to Fritzbox, 20m cable to a 2.5Gpbs ethernet port in my pc, and the 15m cable running from Fritz to a 1 Gbps port in my 3rd part steam dock.Results:- Replacing the cable from the ONT to the router instantly improved speeds over Wifi by between 50 to 100 Mbps when testing. Easy, cheap win right there.- The 20m cable has no problem saturating the LAN ports on the Fritzbox. Now achieving download speeds close to 1Gbps, this is more than 3 times what I could achieve over Wifi.- With the router plugged into the steam dock with the 15m cable, I can stream games at 4k60fps, with minimal network latency, and no stutters, even better @ 1440p. The dream.- Even streaming over Wifi now is almost as flawless with the PC wired into the router.Note: these cables are heavy and more rigid than CAT 5e and below by design (mostly extra shielding). This can make them tricky to weave around the house, but with a little patience, it’s nothing to worry about.Basically, there’s nothing to fault here, these are high quality cables from a manufacturer you can trust. They were perfect out of the box, and live up to the spec (though admittedly I can test them at 10Gbps). I had planned on purchasing a 2.5Gbps unmanaged switch to truly level up my streaming, but saturating 1Gbps does the job perfectly. If you’re disappointed with speeds using these cables, I’d investigate your hardware first. While they may state 1Gbps LAN, even mid range routers not have the horsepower to deliver this constantly.

    5.0 out of 5 stars rhinocables CAT 6a Ethernet Cable | 10Gbps

    R.H.G. · 14 July 2025

excellent cable and works as described using to get 5000 Mbps

5.0 out of 5 stars Future proof - Plug and play - Great speed

    I.M. · 30 April 2025

I ordered a 6a ethernet cable after a long research on the internet to understand the CAT5, CAT6, CAT7... denomination. The number refers to the performance relating to the amount of data transfer rate and distance:-- CAT5e is for basic home and small office networks with speeds up to 1 Gbps- CAT6 is CAT5e with speeds up to 10Gbps- CAT6a is CAT6 with greater distance and higher date transfer rates- CAT7 is CAT6a but with additional shielding where there are a lot of interferences that affect the performance of normal cables- CAT8 has the highest performance and bandwidth, suitable for data centres an applications requiring ultra-high data transfer rates. So, you need to take into account your broadband speed and what you tend to use the internet for. Gaming and photo transfers, for example, will need higher speeds.I also found a warning that anything below CAT6a is not future-proof these days as land lines are being upgraded to increase data transfer speeds (fibre optic) and apps require more and more bandwidth. The advice I found was to go for CAT6a minimum.CAT6a came with an online warning that "CAT6a is considered more difficult to install and terminate than CAT6 and CAT5e (same for CAT7 and CAT8). In my personal experience, CAT6a is plug and play, so no issue there. It also arrived before scheduled so even more happy.

Nice quality cables, I purchased two of these in varying lengths to upgrade some old Cat .5e cables, I needed a longer length for one so that I could relocate my router.Had these sent to my local Bolo locker and they arrived the next day, very pleased with the service and I'd definitely recommend the cables for anyone in the same situation as me where you might want to replace older cables or run a longer length to relocate hardware.
