However, as a layman bodybuilder I can honestly say the materials that I sourced through Bulk Supplements have helped me increase muscle size and strength quickly while minimizing recovery periods.Issues with muscle recovery have limited my physique for years but I felt uncomfortable using supplements (due totally to my ignorance). Recently I decided to give it a shot. After much reading and evaluation of appropriate materials for my first stack, I felt comfortable enough to proceed. I found after a few weeks that my muscle recovery and growth have clearly improved without adversely affecting my health or using questionable substances. I have also noticed the side benefits of heightened focus and increased memory as well. Again this does not quantify the quality of Bulk Supplements products but it leads me to believe that they provide exactly what they claim. (I feel that a placebo effect would explain the significant decrease in muscle soreness that I expected but would not explain the surprising post workout pump and growth which I did not expect at all).I know there are pricy packaged pre/post workout cocktails out there but I like measuring out the exact amounts of the materials I want that are appropriate to my size, diet, timing and regimen. It requires thoughtful reading, organization and a willingness to experiment but I believe these results are more rewarding (and the process more interesting and engaging).I have placed this review on each of the items I have ordered from Bulk Supplements as I will only give my personal opinion on products I have direct experience with.Disclosure: I did receive a free sample of CLA from Bulk Supplements.

Highly Recommend for Exercise Recovery

If you're looking for a quality source of pure L glutamine that won't break the bank, look no further. I am a recreational bodybuilder and amateur martial artist and had heard about the great recovery benefits of supplementing L-Glutamine. After struggling with soreness and fatigue lasting days after a workout, I decided to give it a try. I went on Bolo and settled with this brand, mainly because I liked how it was pure and the brand had great reviews. After quickly receiving the product, I decided to test it out. I took a scoop about 30 minutes before my workout (leg day) and another immediately after. I mixed the white flavorless powder into a glass of water and it quickly dissolved. I didn't really notice much of a difference, at first. It didn't hit me until mid day the day after - my legs weren't sore! I use it before and after every workout, as well as on recovery days and it makes such a big difference. I feel like I can work out harder and longer and I don't have to worry about being sore for my next workout. I would highly recommend buying this because a) It is pure and of good quality, b) It is a bargain compared to other supplements of the same quality, and c) It mixes into virtually anything, and one bag will last you a fairly long time. The main reason I would recommend this, however, is because it works!

BulkSupplements did a great job with this L-Glutamine powder, as is to be expected. The price is great, and the powder is very fine and high quality, it mixes up even with a spoon very well. The packaging is fantastic, and the resealable zipper makes it super convenient to throw in my supplement bag, since I'm always on the go. The conversion chart on the label from mg to tsp makes it super easy to get the correct dosage. So far I have felt a difference in the length of recovery time after a workout (the amount of time that I'm sore), my muscles feel fully repaired the next day rather than two days later. The powder has a nice smell, kind of like vanilla pudding, and the texture when mixed with water is not bad either. The taste of the product alone is not too great, but that's because it's pure Glutamine, no fillers and no artificial sweeteners, which I love about this product. I usually mix it with my pre-workout or some orange juice in the morning and the taste is almost unnoticeable. Overall great product, great quality, and great brand; I will be buying this again - it's earned a permanent spot on my supplement shelf.
