Breaks my heart to write this as I love Columbia sportswear gear, but this purchase was a massive disappointment and I got my trousers on an absolute bargain?? I would have sent it back if I'd paid anything remotely close to retail but they will do as a spare pair? I ordered another more useful pair direct from Columbia UK site but paid a ridiculous amount £££ The listing description for Bolo is for a different product??? Elastane?? 100% nylon? There are supposed to be 4 pockets??? DOH!!! There are exactly none??? Sizing is neat to say the least and I just had a pair of joggers on when I tried them on? Only time will tell if they are remotely breathable? Very disappointing experience !!

Great rain pants
I'm 6'8" tall with most of that height in legs. These pants fit perfectly. I've only worn them once, but they kept my lower half dry. I wouldn't want to wear them as sweat pants or running pants but as rain gear, they breath pretty good and they are very lightweight. They do have velcro on the cuff so they can be tightened up. I added a hiking boot shoelace in the waistband. The standard string just didn't feel like it would hold. There are no pockets to collect water and/or leak into the pants. So far, I would recommend these.
Excellent product to go over pants and keep dry.
Ordered the XL for a trip to iceland. I wear 38waist 34inseem. They fit over my jeans perfectly and the drawstring helped keep them snug around my waist. I did have to work them to get them over my hiking boots, which are size 13 and bulky. Overall extremely happy with the purchase.
Great quality, excellent outer shell to wear over pants in the rain/wind.
I usually wear 36 x 30 pants, and I'll have to say, these pants fit me quite well. A little snug in the crotch, as some reviewers before me have noted, but it isn't something that I notice after a few minutes of wearing it. Overall, it is very comfortable, and its resistance to wind and rain are perfect for both rainy and windy weather.I've used this extensively only once last week while I was in Houston, TX, visiting family. We were at the backyard porch, standing outside in a chilly 35-degree weather (we were smoking, so we had to be outdoors). The wind -- which was quite strong -- easily penetrated my slacks, and the cold was painful to endure, even with my topwear perfect for the weather. My uncle had to go back inside and swap into a thicker sweater, while I did the same and wore the Rebel Roamer over my slacks.End result: we had a nice and solid conversation for the next three hours afterward, and I was comfortable all the way.
Finally halfway decent waterproof pants
After trying several lower price, knock off brands and returning them because they either provided extensive wedgies to the person wearing them or particularly poor sizing or the most crinkly noises I have ever heard, including those produced by potato chip companies I’m glad I finally found a pair of halfway decent pants. They reasonably fit women too. They are designed to be a little bit big to fit over your regular pants so you can put them on while hiking when it starts to rain. None of these pants are designed to give you runway worthy looks, but are designed to keep your butt dry quite literally. These pants aren’t exactly high-rise, but the rise was better than six other pairs in various sizes. Despite paying $60 each for them I bought two pair one for my Spouse and I for our upcoming hiking vacation. Definitely better quality and with less wrestling and crinkling than other brands.
