Description:
This is a plain back patio door roller assembly with a 1-1/4 inch concave or grooved steel ball bearing roller. It has a plain back housing that is 3/4 inch wide and 1-1/8 inch tall. It is rear adjusting with a 1/4-20 threaded mounting hole on the back end and an optional use #10-32 threaded hole on top. It is used by a variety of manufacturers of patio doors.

Bought to replace my twenty-five years old runners. Fixing holes in the right place, wheels correct diameter but couldn't adjust to fit. Removed and replaced the wheels in the old carrier with the new ones,job done, very quiet not.
Good Replacement Wheels
Replaced 30 plus yr old sliding door wheels with these and they worked great! Door opens and closes smoothly and much quieter. Easy installation

This is perfect, bottom line there was no store or manufacturer in a 5 state area that had this item and I was told it would be 90 days before this would even be in stock, the ones in my door were 25 yrs old and they were literally shot, so you be the judge if it is worth it. I will say these are very difficult to replace, I had to completely disassemble my whole assembly, the outer fixed door in my style blocks you from removing the sliding door which are the ones that need to be replaced, the good news after fighting with it to get it apart after 2 YouTube videos and 2 hours thanx to all of the mud dobbers nests in the top of the fixed door that were like concrete, I was eventually able to get everything apart and cleaned, I removed 2 screws and these things dropped right out and the new ones slid right in and mounted smooth as silk. The bottom line is these can be a real nightmare to get to, but with the videos and a little elbow grease and a little mechanical knowledge you can do it. I do want to offer 1 piece of advice for this, after you finish, make sure you squeeze some RTV in the top to keep those critters out to make sure if you need to do this again it will be a 20 or 30 minute job rather than 2 hours. My doors slide like butta now I can't believe I waited soooo long to do this. I am highly satisfied with these and would highly recommend these to anyone, you won't regret the results and wish you had done it so much earlier rather than getting a workout everytime you open and close your doors. One main point, you have to take your door apart to make sure you have the right 1 there are many sizes and styles of these and they are very specific to your setup. Good Luck
