We've been using this only for a few days now, so can't speak about it's longevity, but here are some thoughts.Pros:- relatively stylish- easy to install- decent power, heats up relatively quickly a 20sqm conservatory when it's 5-10C outside- comes with a 13A plug (other similar appliances may not, especially the 3kW ones)- it's got a quick start button behind the appliance which starts it in full power mode with the swing on, which is handyCons:- does not have a memory, so you need to go through all your desired settings every time it gets unplugged/stopped- the thermostat is WAY off because they thought to put it INSIDE the appliance ... ideally it should have been in the remote- even when the thermostat kicks in, it merely shuts down the heating resistance, not the fan, as such you'll be hearing it all the time- talking of which, it's quite noisy, think of a hair dryer in medium or full mode - but not as noisy as the 3kW hot air curtains, one heck of a white noise machine- the controls really are only on the remote which is quite small and flimsy, if that goes you might we well bin it- when setting up a target temperature it seems to follow a weird logic when switching between 1kW and 2kW mode- it's recommended to install it high up, but the power cable is short, 1 or 1.5m in length, so you'll need to pull a nice thick extension lead near the installation position (don't forget this needs to draw 2kW, so avoid cheap, thin ones)I would have been much happier with a more analogue model and a thermostatic socket, but haven't quite found a good one.

Using these to warm up my conservatory. The work really well to keep the room warm even when outside temperature dropped to 7 degrees at night I left it on overnight and the room was nice and warm the next morning. However the cooling function isn't great. If it's 30 degrees outside the room won't get any cooler as it just recycles the same air in the room. I have a backup fan in my conservatory and leave the doors open to allow airflow. That works better than the cooling function on this product.

This product DOES NOT provide cooling. Having purchased this product for the express purpose of cooling a room per the falsely advertised "cools down to 10°C", this product is incapable of performing.In noting the feature error to returns, I was informed "it is not a cooling fan and does not have that function. However, if the room was under 10 degrees then it would in fact bring the room temperature up to that number when set to that."The seller knows this product does not provide cooling and cannot cool down to 10C yet still markets this.When querying for returns, Bolo put in a query for returns by collection due to its bulky size on my behalf, but the seller would not oblige even though it was purchased based on false advertising. Follow up on this was ignored.VERY bad and unethical seller marketing a product in a misleading way. This whole experience has been a waste of money and if I could, I would give zero stars.WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
