KwikWeld is a fast setting version of The Original J-B Weld two-part epoxy cold weld system that provides strong, lasting repairs to metal and multiple other surface types. After mixing, it forms a permanent bond and can be shaped, tapped, filed, sanded and drilled after curing. KwikWeld has a 1:1 mixing ratio, sets in 6 minutes and is fully cured in 4-6 hours. KwikWeld cures to a dark grey color, is rated at a tensile strength of 3127 PSI and will withstand temperatures up to 300ºF.

After attempting to use 2 to 3 of other types of glue, this is the only product I found that would hold the joint firmly enough so that it would not break. With such a fast setting time, in time, the loud metre hold the joint in the joint in the exact location I wanted it without any of the pieces being misaligned. I then left it for 24 hours to set completely to ensure the bond doesn't break.

I dropped my prescription sunglasses on the pavement and the wire frame snapped. This product saved them. I have also used it before to salvage a vehicle water pump. Wouldn’t be without it.

I have used JB Quickweld for years and have found it to be very effective. The short setting time is ideal for trickier jobs where a longer set time results in sagging of thicker applications. It produces a nice gloss finish if left alone to set and flows nicely into inaccessible places if applied within about 5 min of mixing. I am never without some in my toolbox. I also think the standard JB Weld and Marine Weld products are excellent too.

I had tried the fast setting version of this original product and I was surprised how strongly it bonds the two metal pieces together. This slower setting epoxy takes longer to set and cure but seems to be as strong as the fast setting one. I have used this as an acceptable alternate to brazing aluminum for a quick-and-dirty glue up of small to medium sized objects. Like all epoxies, this is messy to mix and apply but, hey, it works. I have not applied strong force to the joints of these two scraps, however, but I could not break the joints with my fingers. Maybe I'm just getting too old and feeble!

Excellent product! Barnes just about anything and only takes six minutes to start hardening. Highly recommend this product
