I use these for Monitoring and General sound production. They are well balanced and don't make crazy claims about what Hertz range they have. We hear at 20-20 Hz. These deliver accurate sound. I have a pair, but bought only one as one had developed a minor Hum. Checked all leads except the plug, which was sealed. I added the new one to sit alongside the older one. . The sound is equally well balanced and they both output the same high quality sound. I have a small studio and won't let anything on to the market if it isn't right. These / This tells me honestly, when it is right. Very happy. I don't use for gaming, so have left that section blank.

First and foremost: they sound amazing!! Clean, powerful and articulate! Exactly what I wanted.Build quality is excellent!! Solid and weighty. Nice inputs and control at rear of speaker.Look great with white speaker cones and subtle front light when on.Partnered with Douk Audio valve amp for better audio and control via USB.

Have a pair of these, bought direct from GuitarGuitar in Glasgow. Using VisioSound's balanced XLR-TRS cables into a Focusrite 2i2, plugged into my Apple Mac Mini M1 configured with a 192kHz/24bit output. These active monitors sound absolutely sublime.I'm familiar with larger passive monitor speakers from Tannoy, but the clarity and depth heard here is on an entirely different level, almost as if I need to listen to my music library again to catch everything I've not noticed before. No hums, no distortion, nothing but pure sound as it was supposed to be heard. These speakers leave the competition for dust. If you have any Hi-Res music in your library, then these Yamaha's will reward you. These are not sub-bass heavy at all - Yamaha have an optional subwoofer to match the HS series if you really need that. I find the low frequency levels to be more than acceptable that I don't feel the need for a subwoofer. Yamaha recommends that a wall be about 1.5m behind the speaker, so if your wall is closer, the low frequencies from the rear bass-port will be more noticeable and vice-versa.Bought the HS5 as they're perfectly sized for my desk. Used for editing and mixing with DaVinci Resolve Studio. Love the attention to detail, including the mid-point rest at +4db on the level dial (so it's easy to match volume on your other speakers). My one and only gripe - wish I could turn down the white lights in front, as they're quite bright.

Arrivato in imballo perfetto ed accurato, prodotto YAMAHA veramente ottimo, lo uso come spia da studio, quindi un diffusore soltanto, ma nei momenti di pausa ci ascolto musica ed è veramente valido, mi sono quasi pentito di non aver acquistato la coppia!Consigliato.

Ho preso questa cassa per la palestra dove lavoro e funziona perfettamente. Ho anche avuto bisogno di assistenza per problemi riguardo a quali cavi utilizzare e il venditore Discopiù nella persona di Andrea è stato disponibilissimo e gentilissimo ad aiutarmi a risolvere il problema! superconsigliata sia la cassa e ancor più il venditore!!!
