Being freeze dried I was convinced it would not be that nice. How wrong was I. I added extra sultana's as I like them. I added around 350ml of hot water and all I can say it was awesome, it filled me up all day until dinner. Is it worth £8 maybe not but it’s very convenient, very tasty and very filling. I am stocking up on these ready for my next fishing trip.

Easy to make and tastes near as good as porridge made with milk etc,much better than supermarket instant pots, but 8 times the price! . Really filling and I like a big bowl of porridge at home.I can't give it 5 stars as the price is a couple of quid too much for my liking.

Good food with high calorie count at low weight. Just add water and wait. Prob enough for two standard porridge, or set up for long day out.

Always use expedition foods - they taste great, are easy to mix, and perform when you need them. When on overnight camps or trail races when weight is important these things pack an excellent calorie-to-grams ration and fit easily into your pack. They rehydrate quickly and are easy to use.

After trying a selection of the dinners and breakfasts from the same company i was not too impressed. However, after trying this i was pleasantly surprised. I had previous trouble with these meals being too watery and so i used less than recommended amount of water.The meal was very nice and i would buy it again
