Also, there's something oddly comforting about holding this big mug with both hands, like enjoying a hearty bowl of goodness!I honestly thought the black finish would show wear quickly. Surprisingly, it still looks almost new despite regular use.---NEGATIVES:I often have to give up this mug to my guests who fancy a latte!If you're in the market for a 12oz mug that's perfect for latte art, this might just be it!The product arrived on time, and the packaging kept it safe and sound. I love the aesthetic of the mug. I was looking for a coffee mug that was wide so that I can make lattes and the froth not be out of reach as the drink comes to an end. The width on this mug is perfect, but it just needs to be a bit deeper really, you can only make small lattes. I use a 3-cup Moka pot espresso base and use a cafetiere to froth a very small amount of milk (1/4 of a 3-cup cafetiere) and it JUST ABOUT fits. If this was another few cm deeper, we'd have a winner. Still, as it just about does the job, I'll be keeping it, but I use other mugs more frequently. And as a small mug, it's fine, so just knocking off one start.Packing etc was fine.

Firstly the good points:-This looks really nice. It is a lovely weight and holds a nice amount of coffee. The coffee stays warm quite well and doesn't chill as in some similar items.The only baddish thing is that it isn't cheap, and perhaps a bit overpriced.However I don't regret treating myself to this.

Looked as expected, really nice to have something other than white! And perfect size for a decent cappuccino - large but not soup-bowl size ;). Definitely recommended. The purple colour ones are the best - I also have the cream colour one, which is ok, but definitely prefer the purple colour. That's probably personal preference though.
