This tool allows me to cut plant material which was too hard or thick for my arthritic hands to cope with. A very useful addition to my garden tool collection with the bonus it can be used single handed. Well built and finished.

They are great, really sharp easy to use with the shape of the grip, now all plants are ready for the spring except hydrangeas which I can’t prune for a few weeks. Most important is the ratchet as I have arthritis in my hands .

As an OAP I sometimes find it hard to to prune tougher plants with ordinary secateurs. The ratchet on this model makes it easy again and I am very pleased. Hopefully it is also easy to keep sharp- time will tell.

I searched on Bolo for secateurs for small hands. These appeared to fit the bill so I ordered themI was upet to find1) they are really heavy2) they are difficult to unlock/open the locking slide very stiff3) there are no extra oilingg sponge in the pack, they are advertised as having these4) the packet they are in was not sealed the secateurs could fall out easilyI haven’t used these they are just too big and heavy, sad really when I specifically searched for pruners for small handsEssentially they are useless for me, I will return them or find someone with bigger hands

It was said to be gentle on your hands but I found it wasn’t easy to cut anything I have trouble with my hands but it’s no good for me

The ratchet feature allows you to cut branches cleanly of up to 1 inch or more in diameter with ease. Much, much better than pruning shears without the ratchet feature. I have had mine for several years and it still works perfectly. Highly recommended.

Le ho usate appena ricevute per la potatura degli olivi. Tagliano anche rametti grossi, ma debbo usare entrambe le mani, perchè sono anziana ed ho l'artrosi alle mani. Per rami più sottili basta una mano. Con queste cesoie si va veloci. Solide, senza dubbio, senza essere pesanti. Ottima affilatura. Facili da aprire e chiudere, sia per destrorsi che per mancini. dremo che riuscita fanno.
Cumple con lo indicado, lo compraría de nuevo.
La compré dudando de que realmente funcionara, pero mi sorpresa ha sido que:- Funciona: Solo hay que cogerle el truco, es decir, no cortar de una vez, sino a pocos porque va ejerciendo fuerza a tramos y finalmente corta.- Dura: Llevo con ella un par de años y sigue cortando bien y funcionando.¿La volvería a comprar? Sí, con los ojos cerrados.Se ha vuelto un imprescindible para no maltratar mis manos.
