I found the bottle to be perfect. Doesnt leak. Weighs around 250grams (when empty) and the strap seemd an adequate length. Solid design.

Canteen is great, holds just the right amount for a hike.The cover is a little less great, after a few steps the zip is halfway down and you're constantly having to do the thing up again. There is no way to secure it.Updated after 2 weeks of use,case is starting to break apart. Ruddy useless

its a great canteen that I take with me every time I go on a trekking holiday I have had it for about 2 years and its still fine even though I have taken it to 4 continents in all weathers and conditions a must have

Wonderful water bottle given to me as a present.Firstly, it came with a mild smell. So filled it with water and half teaspoon of baking soda. Left for 15 minutes. Then washed with liquid dish soap and water.The water taste is rather nice now I find. Much nicer than my Sigg hiking bottle.Holding it to drink is easy and ergonomic.The water stays chilled for about 3 or 4 hours in hot weather.I take it into woods whilst dog walking, or walking to the pub across fields. Fabulous thing this! Robust, versatile, good value.Highly recommended.UPDATE: The chain attaching the lid to the bottle snapped. No worries. I used a piece of string to tie together, and functionality is restored! Im still very happy with it

L'ho presa per mio padre ed è soddisfattissimo. Certo piena pesa un pochino ma lui la tiene in macchina. Mi riferisce che mantiene abbastanza la freschezza durante il giorno.

Die Flasche ist ohne Mängel und Beulen bei mir eingetroffen.Sie müffelt innen zwar sehr stark nach der Innenbeschichtung, dass sollte aber weg sein wenn ich sie mit heißer Milch ausgespült habe ( Trick von Oma).Der Bezug kann mit einem Reißverschluss geöffnet werden um die Flasche zu spülen oder den Bezug zu reinigen. Für die Benutzung im Winter hat das natürlich den Vorteil, dass man die Flasche in der Nähe einer Wärmequelle deponieren kann um evtl. gefrorenes Wasser aufzutauen. Ich würde sie aber micht ins Feuer legen. Mit etwas Übung flutscht die Flasche leicht in den Bezug . Der Tragegurt lässt sich ausreichend verlängern um die Flasche über die Schulter zu hängen.Nachtrag, der Geruch ist nach dem spülen mit heisser Milch weg
Quality Traditional Canteen
I purchased this Laken Clasica 34oz Water Canteen. I have plenty of canteens, military and civilian, and loads of water bottles. I was wanting something that was a “throwback” from my childhood. This is an Aluminum camping bottle with a Neoprene pouch and an adjustable shoulder strap for easy carrying. It has a narrow mouth, a cap with a security chain, 100% leak-proof, and BPA-Free (a must). I purchased the green canteen.As mentioned, it is BPA-free and has no Phthalates or Lead. They say that this canteen does not retain or impart flavors. I have found, after my initial washes and multiple uses, that this is true. I only use water in my canteens, so I can’t vouch for other liquid types.This is my go-to for short outings and impromptu hikes. I prefer the way that this traditional canteen lies against my body and frees up my hands. It is aluminum and not prone to rust or mold. However, use proper cleaning and hygiene as always.This Laken 34oz lightweight aluminum hiking and camping water canteen is made in Spain.
