Really good, German pork frankfurters, *except*, as some others have said: "Those skins!"I honestly though that these were petty complaints but after eating my first (and second!) jar I do wonder what the skins are made from?The sausages themselves are very, very tasty and at the end of the day, the tough skin does not detract from the taste of a proper frankfurter, *BUT* if I did not have bits of "suspicious skin" hanging around my teeth, these would have been a well deserved 5 star rather than a knocked-down 4 star.

Over the years we have bought many jars of Meica Frankfurters and enjoyed them very much. But, this last lot was incredibly awful. The size of the frankfurters have been much reduced and the recipe seems to have been changed because they did not taste the same as previous purchases. We had not been able to find these in any shops so bought them online. I do not know whether the home company has made these changes but does them no good feelings from customers like us.
