Good old foot stomping rock! Best played loud and ideally suited to car journeys. Random play mode keeps the interest up as there are 50 tracks!

One of the better compilations, I was concerned over the quality of some of the songs which I already have from other albums, however the quality of the recordings on this album are far better than I already own. A big thumbs up from me.

まだ私が中学生の頃外国のポップスばかりをやっていたラジオ番組のテーマソングがレッドリヴァーヴァレーでした。毎回そのテーマソングが流れるのをいつのまにか楽しみになっていました。その頃はまだお金もなくラジオにかじりついて、いろんなポップスをやっている番組を聴いたものです。日本ではレッドリヴァーヴァレーしかヒットしていませんが、同じ曲でもジョニーとハリケーンズのレッドリヴァーヴァレーはヴェンチャーズのそれと比べると、演奏力ではヴェンチャーズに軍配が上がりますが、ジョニーとハリケーンズのそれはシンプルでノスタルジックなところが有り、この曲に関してはジョニーとハリケーンズの演奏が好きです。当時サックスを入れたバンドがかなり多くギタードラムサックスベースキーボードのパターンのバンドは多かったのではないでしょうか。全体的に昔のロックンロール纏め上げています。古ーい昔のシャリシャリのフェンダーのジャズマスターの音が聞けます。今のギターのように長がーいサスティンはありません。昔を懐かしく思う方はぜひ買ってもイイと思います。

Ho acquistato questo CD pensando di trovare qualche altro brano al livello di Telestar, che negli anni '60 ebbe molto successo, in concomitanza con la messa in orbita del primo satellite per telecomunicazioni, appunto Telestar. Non ho trovato però altre esecuzioni all'altezza, però ho apprezzato l'idea di pubblicare musiche quasi dimenticate
