Great product, 1000's of uses, so I wont go into them.What I will say though is how much easier the smart straw is, what is even better is that once you have used up the can you can pop the whole straw unit off easily by hand and put it on a regular can of WD-40. I purchased a standard 600ml can (without the smart straw), and the smart straw fits on it perfectly. (the canister nozzles are the same, you just obviously pay a bit of a premium for the smart straw version). (pictures attached to show)

It's WD40, chances are you know what it does, and it does it well. One thing I didn't know it was good for is general cleaning, I'm not saying use it instead of your normal cleaning products, but it is good for removing really stubborn dirt. Some people aren't sure about the 'smart straw'. I can understand that, if you're using it on machinery and spaces where you need pin point accuracy, then the good old straw from the old days is fine, but having a wider spray is really useful if you're using it for helping with cleaning.

Arrived within a few days, WD-40 as good as ever for preventing all those little squeaks and creaks. The built-in straw really makes it far easier to just grab and use (as opposed for looking for the straw you lost a few months ago when you last used it).

Very quick delivery, product well packaged and in good condition.Only minor downside (the only thing keeping this from a 5* review) is the Use By date on the bottom of the tin which has the date 10/11/15 (while I ordered on 02/01/16 and received on 05/01/16.) Although this is a little disappointing to see, it is WD40, it's not going to 'go off' any time soon, and will still function as expected for many years after this date no doubt.Aside from that, what is there to say? The product works, as I knew and expected it would, and does the job for which it was required. The 'smart straw' makes a very useful addition - allowing you to have either direct or dispersed spraying without worrying about misplacing the straw.

I love WD40, every house should have it.Problem was old-school cans (with straw) were a pain in the arse as the straw got lost and WD40 ended up everywhere.Loved their previous innovation of putting it in a Pentel-style pen (scribble lubricant on wherever you needed it) - but was nostalgic still for the old giant can.This fixes the issue with the original can/straw format. Use it as you see in the picture and it's an aerosol with with distribution (for maybe getting water out of your engine, as before), flip up the straw and you can use it for detailed stuff like getting that stop-cock to move in your house.Just a lovely bit of design - it pleases me :)

A) Don't you get annoyed when you just want to spray that spot, not the whole area, I know I do.B) Wouldn't it be great if you could spray just where you want it, and not everywhere else as well.Smart Straw is the answer, flip up and lock the straw in place, then just spray that spot.If you need to spray a wider area, put the straw back down, and spray away.I have used sprays that have a loose straw attached to the cap, but end up spraying everywhere as I try to attach, or loose it altogether.So if you suffer from A), and would rather have B), this is for you. Oh, and E2 Trade's customer service is great, recommend them as well.

Found that when spraying it you get a lot of back spray running down the can.It's WD40 what else can you say.

I bought this for my bike, to prevent my chain getting rusty etc. The fact it comes with a straw, was ideal to spray the area I needed. And not spray the whole place and waste it. It also has the spray method, if you need to cover more area. For the price you're better off getting this than the original... and if you have creaking doors etc, but the areas are hard to reach. He straw comes in handy to get in the crevices and give it a good spray.
