The third studio album by the American musical duo, originally released in January 2013. The songs 'Ode to Sleep', 'Holding on to You', 'Car Radio', 'Guns for Hands', and 'Trees' were taken from their previous independent album, 'Regional at Best' (2011), and re-recorded for 'Vessel'; as a result, the former project was pulled from distribution by the band's label. Joseph had composed 'Regional at Best' 'not knowing whether or not people were going to hear it' and viewed 'Vessel' as an opportunity to complete these songs. Features the singles 'Holding on to You', 'Guns for Hands', 'Lovely', 'House of Gold', 'Fake You Out', 'Car Radio'.

Wow! what can i say,this is one of the best albums i have heard this century let alone in the past couple of years.Many different styles of music within just one song especially "Holding on to you" and "Guns for hands" which are both fantastic.Also "Car radio" what a tune that is and what about "Screen", "House of gold", "Semi automatic", "Trees" etc etc.I defy anyone to listen to this and not fall in love with whats on offer.I am in my 50's and i love my music and this is a breath of fresh air to me.Oh by the way check out Pinkpop performance from 2014 superb stuff (You know where to find it ).

Bought as a gift for my fifteen year old daughter, she love twenty one pilots.And so do I now!!Truly great musicians that are gems in the current music industry.This album may just make you think, deeply - whilst singing along to catchy lyrics and dancing to amazing beats!The album does include bonus tracks which were first on Regional at best (of which, is an album that is hard to come by) so the album is even better.

My sister and I were lucky enough to get tickets to see Twenty One Pilots live in London recently, and we didn't want to go along to a concert where we didn't know the lyrics to the earlier tracks (thus giving away the fact we started to like them after Heathens & Stressed Out...which will never do!), and we both found we really enjoyed this album, and in fact it's become an album we prefer to Blurry Face. Stand out tracks in my humble opinion are Holding Onto You, Guns for Hands and Ode to Sleep...but love all of them really! Unlit!

I'm not going to pretend like I'm a music critic, but I adore this album.It has everything you expect from twenty | one | pilots - the amazing vocals, heavy beats and even heavier messages in the lyrics.It's great to sing along to, and it varies in moods so there's one for almost every feeling.I've been listening to it for weeks on end after hearing Holding On to You on a radio station - I took a chance buying this album and I'm addicted. Perfect to walk to the beat of (seeing as my music is normally used to help me walk the 2 miles home from school everyday).- Delivery was good (felt longer as I was really eager to get it), and came in perfect condition. Everything you expect and hope for.If you're thinking about buying it - go for it! I guarantee you'll become addicted too.

Each song on Vessel connected with me instantly. The first song I ever heard by the group was "Migraine", when I was driving down the road in the car listening to a local radio station. I thought, "This is genius! I'll have to remember the name and look them up when I get home." So I did. I did my research on Twenty One Pilots and discovered that they'd released 3 albums; Twenty One Pilots, Regional at Best, and Vessel. I tried to listen to their self-titled record and couldn't get into it as much. Then, I moved on to Regional at Best and began to think they might be on to something. From there, I proceeded to Vessel, their third studio album and a compilation of songs from Regional and new songs. I was in 100% shock at how amazing it truly is. After hearing the Fueled by Ramen-released album, I had to find live dates and see them ASAP. And sure enough, right then, I discovered that the radio station where I heard them for the first time was holding a FREE event which they were co-headlining with Coheed and Cambria, another amazing band. And how could I NOT go to THAT? Needless to say, I attended the event. But something happened. I was no longer inspired just by LISTENING to Vessel. THEIR LIVE SHOW INSPIRED ME MORE! Musical geniuses Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun brought their first major-label effort to a crowd of nearly 6,000 ecstatic fans. And by the time they left, they were in total denial that they could have seen something so incredible in their lives. Not to mention, I was in the front row, and I caught (and still have) one of the streamers they fired into the crowd, so that made me feel like a piece of them is with me, which is strange, but cool. The bottom line is, if you're skeptical about buying Vessel..... stop thinking and do it.

My sister and I were lucky enough to get tickets to see Twenty One Pilots live in London recently, and we didn't want to go along to a concert where we didn't know the lyrics to the earlier tracks (thus giving away the fact we started to like them after Heathens & Stressed Out...which will never do!), and we both found we really enjoyed this album, and in fact it's become an album we prefer to Blurry Face.
