ALWAYS WASH IT FIRST!! OTHERWISE YOULL GET RESIDUE AT THE TOP!! Although I will say this didn’t take a lot of washing at all it came very clean, put it over my substrate and then planted in my 450ltr. Looks very nice 🦋

The gravel cane remarkable clean very little dust an washing before it went into the tank. The stones are small stone making it ideal for my catfish an loach to mooch in. Looks great in the tank. Highly recommend this product.

The media could not be loaded. this gravel is fantastic the colour is really black doesn't look grey in water its sooo easy to clean took about 30 mins to clean 4 bags 20kg ive never come across such great gravel i have kept fish for years and i must say in all honesty the best gravel I've ever got great price a bargain for the quality off it i risked it abit by not taken my fish out the tank to go from sand to this this is a video after straight away my look happy i think they're smiling 🤣 overall can't fault this seller and the quality off it overall very very pleased 😉

Good product. Gave it a wash before setting it in thr tank. Was quite clean. Was alot finer than i was expecting. But good product overall

I only have a goldfish and two cheeky little japanese sucker fish and was using glass beads at the bottom of my huge tank, however, these soon went green so wanted something a bit finer, the normal gravel you get with the tank kept getting stuck in old fishy's mouth so we couldn't use that. Then came across this stuff, its finer than the normal gravel but chunkier than sand (which was a pain for clogging the pump). I washed it as advised but the water was clean straight away, a few float on the top which looks like a black oil slick, but it is just where they have bunch together and some physics teacher would probably explain its something to do with air pockets, any way, one swish of your hand and they disperse, I used two bags for my big tank and i have about an inch on the bottom so I may just get another bag (totalling 3) just for the added depth - i think my tank is 150l. unless anyone is good at working it out from measurements its about 50 cm front to back, and 90cm wide by about 50cm tall. The gravel is charcoal colour in the water so not Jet black but near as darn as it is to swearing! fully recommend this product.

I placed this over Tropica soil as I'm growing plants. One bag will give you a covering of 4cm in a 100 litre tank. I put half a bag at a time in a bucket to wash, the water was clear, so only rinsed once. The gravel is a nice dark grey/black so gives a good contrast with plants. I cannot think of a single negative for this product, great value. I've been keeping fish for forty years.

Washed them through fully 3-4 times to remove any dust. Gravel dropped in to the tank with no dust residue, have bought a couple of times. Spot on.
