Great for compost. Smell absorber in the top is working great. It seals well too. I put compostable bags in to make cleaning easier. It is a good size for a small bin

This bin has been excellent until I managed to throw out the lid (which is prone to falling into the bin) out with the waste on bin collection day this week - no chance to retrieve ! So I’m purchasing another and the lidless bin will be relegated to garden duties. Good bin, very stylish, lovely colour, robust.

The composter is very useful for any sort of food waste. Soon as it’s full, I empty it into the outdoor composter or brown bin to avoid food waste going with general waste and into landfill. The composter eliminates any bad smells with the highly effective carbon filter. It certainly looks great in the kitchen, however the lid doesn’t form a proper seal - doesn’t quite align properly. Can be a bit of a pain to clean, especially if left for several days without emptying. Good sturdy handle, and value for money isn’t bad as it’s a long term investment for a product that’s unlikely to fail/break.

Recently my other half has been obsessed with three colours, "duck egg blue", "Charcoal Grey" and a light yellow. This has resulted in everything that we need all of a sudden becoming one of those three colours.. I was therefore very pleased when I found this compost bin in the duck egg that she seems to be obsessed with at the moment - who knows how long this trend will last!What will last, however, is this perfectly sized, sturdy - but light, ideal compost bin!Things that I noticed straight away (other than the colour which looks great next to our "duck egg" .. everything else!) were that there are two hefty looking handles. The handle that is used for carrying the bin out to your compost bin/food waste bin feels very strong and takes the weight of a full compost bin easily. The second handle is definitely needed as well due to the seal around the lid of this bin. This seal is crucial as it keeps the smell in and any fruit flies out! There is also a piece of charcoal that absorbs any bad smells in the first place which is cleverly hidden in the lid.One of the best selling points of this Compost bin is that it is the perfect size to sit on your kitchen counter. Not too big that it takes up too much space but big enough that you do not need to empty it all of the time!Very happy with this purchase and would recommend to anyone - even those not addicted to certain colour ranges! An excellent product that fits in our kitchen perfectly and fulfils all our composting needs!

This is super cute, which is why it got 3 stars. However, before I even had a chance to use it, the handle broke on one side (metal part slid out from the under side of the lip). I was able to slide the metal portion back under the lip, which keeps it secure, but it was still a bummer. I don't carry this around or need the handle necessarily, so I kept it. Also, it was fixable and I could glue it I suppose, but I shouldn't have to considering it was out of the box. Very small. Perfect for sitting on a counter top and not taking up too much room.

Quite an upgrade on my Tupperware box that let out the smells of waste! Love the duck egg blue colour, which complements the tiles in my kitchen. Sturdy product with a tight fitting lid and 2 filters included. I also purchased biodegradable liner bags here on Bolo, which makes keeping the item clean much easier and makes me feel better about the disposal of my waste. As with all such items, it requires cleaning regularly, wiping down the handles and wiping the inside of the caddy when changing the liner bags. Item arrived well packaged and in good time. Very pleased with my purchase.

Ours is pale shade between aqua and gray/blue, and adds a nice pop of color as it sits on the counter top next to our sink. It is a good size for us: 4 3/4" W x 6 1/2" L x 8" H (without lid) or about 8 5/8" H with lid (minus handle on lid). It is not too large to be obtrusive and when it fills we can easily empty it into our backyard compost bin. The lid is snug fitting and has so far kept smells and fruit flies at bay. I also like the fact ours came with 2 carbon filters, which fit inside the lid and cover the breathable holes in the lid.

It's absolutely gorgeous and is quite sturdy. The lid is sealed on quite well and the charcoal filter helps to keep the odor in it's place! I was quite impressed w/ the construction of it....very well made....beautiful colour. A lot of people said the lid was hard to take off....I didn't have issues w/ this. If you are an individual that doesn't have strong hands (perhaps arthritis) then perhaps you'd have an issue....I certainly didn't. I'd recommend this product and this line to anyone....SUPER AWESOME! The only thing I'll note is I wasn't expecting it to be so small -- I didn't really check out the dimensions before purchasing. I'm ok w/ the size b/c I think it should be emptied often or would be gross to empty.
