The results are excellent. It is easy to apply, dries in a few hours, repels water and has stopped any rot. The appearance is well-preserved although there is slight darkening over the years but this is not unattractive. Have just used on a new shed.

We were really impressed with this product. It applied evenly and soaked in quickly. Much better than the water-based products we have been using in recent years. Previous reviews have mentioned smell. It does have a slight smell but you have to remember that this is oil based and not water based so it is only to be expected. It is a clear liquid but the overall colour is a mid brown. Got splashed with water this morning (applied yesterday) and the water beaded on the surface so it obviously does what it says on the tin ;-)

Excellent value for money, a very good quality decking oil, ideally applied by brush or roller can be sprayed but needs a lot of thinning down. When applied looks great and seals deck, having used other decking oils at twice the price, this product is superb highly recommended

I really like this and after using and wasting so so much money on other products I feel this is the product I need . Yes it makes the decking darker of course it would.It smells a bit but doesn't smell for ages.Drying is a little problem if you over load the product.(I used well known premium products before and it peeled badly even when I applied it in the manner and followed the instructions. It also took a very long time to remove it to start afresh. Much much to long and more cash and time .)Never again . A large area and 6 .5ltr containers. Is expensive. SO.Yes this takes a bit long to dryYes it darkens the wood and yesIt smells a bit BUT.It's easier to clean it doesn't peel it doesn't get darker over time and its waterproof.BTW. I added some peppermint oil to it and it smelled good and took the oily smell away.If your deck is too new don't use it. It won't soak in.I hope this review helps any doubters.I purchased 3 x 25 ltrs of this oil.

I used it to spray an 18month old fence, very easy and quick to apply, gave a rich golden colour and am not seeing any fading three weeks later. A great product and so easy to use. Great value against using fence paint.
