He has just broken the zip on it in a 'play-fight' with his big sister and it is actually cheaper to buy a new one for him than to have the zip repaired. I have just bought a size 10/11 so that he can get some wear from it.As some reviewers have said, the sizes are slightly small by British standards. I would therefore tend towards buying a larger size. My grandson is only seven but he is quite big for his age and is very athletic. I have not given the size 10/11 to him yet but my daughter thinks that it will fit fairly well and will also give him plenty of 'growing room'.I cannot recommend this jacket enough, particularly at these bargain prices. I would say that any boy who likes football will be very impressed by this jacket and will want to show it off to his friends.In addition to buying this jacket from FootballShopOnline, I have bought quite a few other Barcelona items over a period of time, including the fleece hoody, the training top and the beanie hat. They are all excellent quality and excellent value.

My son is 6 year old and is small for his age. Because of this i purchased size 6 to 7 years. The product was delivered promptly within a couple of days. However when i tried it on my son it was quite short in body length and i felt did not fit him. I returned the jacket and asked for the next size. I received an e mail from the seller adviding they received the return and i received the next size within a couple of days.This seller provided a fantastic customer service and a good quality product which has been welcomed by my sonwho is very happy, i would certainly buy from this seller again, thank you.

Really happy with this - perfect for his training sessions at hockey as he wouldn't wear a coat before even when it was freeeezing! After reading the other reviews I first bought bought the 10-12, the body length was good but it was very long in the arms and he didn't want to wear it as it didn't look cool enough that way, My son has just turned 8 and is quite long in the back - despite that the 8-9 fits well. It is noticeably shorter in the back than the 10-12 - but might be enough to last a second year - hard to tell - but it is comfortable with a jumper underneath. The arms on the 8-9 have room for growth - so overall very glad that we made the change rather than waiting for him to grow in to the larger - he may not still support Barca by then!

I brought this as a present at Christmas for my son, he’s ten. I went for a size 12-13 thinking that he would have lots of growing room in it, he is slightly taller for his age but very slim. It fits him perfectly at that size so I would suggest ordering a size up. It’s a lovely jacket he loves it on warmer days.

My little boy is just 7 and usually age 6-7 still fits him as he isn't very big, after reading the reviews about the sizing I ordered an 8-9 year old which fits him perfectly, so I would definitely recommend ordering a size or even 2 sizes bigger. The quality of the jacket is very good and it looks lovely, it arrived very quick, a day before estimated! Overall I am very happy and my son loves it!
