Brilliant, diagnoses and reads all the codes on my BMW335d e92. I hadn’t used my car for a while and I took it for a drive and on popped my abs warning and airbag light; gutted. I bought this diagnosis tool and it told me the faults, then I erased them and it hasn’t come back on since. Brilliant

Does a whole range of BMW. Easy to use, I don't have any fault lights but still brought as a precaution and being great value. Has found a fault with a sensor so will keep an eye on that. Good quality item seems very sturdy. Has a protective case too.

I purchased the code reader to register a replacement battery. The code reader itself done the job. I think that the unit was a return, which had obviously had been used, with small scratches on the screen.

Had to buy this to register a new battery in my wife's car - the computer needs to know when you fit a new battery, so I was unhappy about that, but as far as this gadget goes its very good. Worked perfectly and a lot cheaper than many.

If you have an e53 4.8 with dual air ride suspension.This doesn't reset both.In fact it switches off the front completely.You will potentially need a new ecu!!I'm now tons of £ out of pocket.Otherwise it seems suitable for other functions.

Everything is compatible except for the specific vehicle that I have (E83) and it says it’s compatible with my vehicle. It still works but not with specific checks.

OK so I got this for battery registration and it failed to do that even though car is in the models for this device, also I would like to say to anyone who needs to register a battery that if you need to register a change in battery power this tool won't do that at all. Also its design and ui is really horrible and not set up the best at all. This does nothing more than my other scan tool apart from the battery registration but didn't work , so not at all what I'd thought it would be so refund in progress and will probably just get bimmercode tool.
Decent to read the codes. Cannot clear all at one time.

Excellent diagnostic tool for my 2008 BMW X3 E83 model!
I have a 2008 BMW X3 and this little device has worked remarkably well at providing me with accurate CEL and error codes. Have diagnosed many issues including airbag lights, washer pumps, DMTL charcoal canister replacement, camshaft sensors and more. Well worth the cost and would highly recommend. If you're a DIYer this thing will handily pay for itself. A++++
Finally a scanner that can scan the E36
Finally found a scanner that can scan my E36. Although the selection for the E36 is placed under the “Z series” option in the menu as the E36 is the same as the Z3.It read out detail codes and is able to clear them effectively too. Very helpful
