From start to finish, this product exceeded my expectations.First off, the application was incredibly easy. The waterproofer went on smoothly, and it absorbed quickly into the surface, leaving no visible residue or streaks. It's clear that Raincheck has formulated a high-quality product that’s easy to apply, even for a DIY enthusiast like myself.What truly stands out is the effectiveness. After using Raincheck, I noticed an immediate improvement in the water resistance of my brick and stone surfaces. Heavy rainfall used to leave visible stains and damp patches on my exterior walls, but since applying Raincheck, there’s been no water penetration whatsoever. My bricks and stone look as good as new, and the walls are completely dry—even after the heaviest storms!I also appreciate that it doesn’t alter the natural appearance of my brick or stone surfaces. I bought two of these to seal my internal garage wall (about four brick courses that are below damp proof membrane) and the concrete garage floor. My main goal was to reduce the amount of dust on the garage floor from the concrete and reduce the brick dust from the brick courses below damp proof layer as they are 400 year old bricks and mortar and very dusty! I prepped the floor and wall best I could with brushing, hoovering and mopping it all down then letting it dry 24 hours.Applied this sealant on wall and first so run off went onto floor. I used a weed sprayer to apply the sealant and it was so quick to apply. The spray worked particularly well on the dusty old bricks and sealed the dust in too. I then went on to seal the garage floor in sections so that I could move things around and let sections dry. The spray worked well on the garage floor but with my floor being a mixture of different concrete bases some areas soaked the spray in sooner than others. If drying (like I did) during the winter time I would say to allow at least 2 days for it to dry out and to ventilate it as often as possible.My goal from sealing the garage floor and internal wall was mainly to reduce dust so I could work out in my gym and not give myself a lung condition! I believe this has done the job so far (one week so far). Not sure how hard wearing it will be on the floor but it is not meant for floors really. It was good value for money, sprayed on really easily, and for the time being has done what I set out to do.If I was going to do this project again, I would probably use a garage floor paint instead as many of my different substrates on the garage floor have come up slightly different colours now having sealed them - not that I really care about that as it is only the garage.

Bought this to help solve damp through bricks and mortar becoming porus over the years as the property was built in the late 1800s.Easily to apply - I used a hand pump trigger. You do get white resedue when wet, but it dried well and clear with just a little shine.So far it seems to be doing the job well.Pound for pound it's great value for money and recommend. To be honest a no brainer.

Easy to apply, gave it 2 coats. Excellent results. Only drawback is its a nightmare to pour. Needs a longer pour spout or use a funnel.

First impressions of this product are good.It comes in a liquid form with low viscosity i.e. it is watery and not thick like a normal paint.I applied two coats on the outside of a single skin garage wall (new build) and used a roller to appy it, which wasn't easy as mortar/pointing between the brick is not flush with the brick face. Nevertheless, I can see it has formed a water repellent seal on the outside face of the wall.This product does not leave shine on the bricks after it has dried. In other words one cannot tell that the wall/bricks have been treated this water repellent product.For bigger areas, spraying would be more effective and for smaller spaces brush can be used as well.Second coat must be applied while the first coat is still wet. It says this on the instructions as well. If you let the first coat dry, it would have formed the seal to some extent and second coat won't stick that well to the wall/bricks.I used to get damp patches on the inside of the garage as bricks and mortar used to absorb water especially during heavy rain in windy weather and after applying this product, results so far are positive.How long will the seal last for, that will remain to be seen.
