The box is well made, and the access screws allow you to chose to hinge the lid. The box is exactly the right size for the project I am building into it, and the thickness is sufficient to accept self-tapping screws and - more importantly - the 3mm tapped hexagonal posts with the self-tapping screw on the non-tapped end...and I brought those posts as I knew I would need them ...but at the time I didn't know what for! At least I knew what I was buying this box for - an intruder alarm for my son (he's not paying ADT THAT much anymore!)

Nice tough junction box with sturdy lid. Slightly larger than your standard size too which is a bonus.

Does the job but the lack of knockouts is a letdown meaning that you have to drill holes for the cables, haven’t tested it yet for waterproof quality, but I taped it just to be sure

Je voulais un boitier de raccordement pour mettre à l'extérieur.Je suis très satisfait de mon achat. Le rapport qualité prix est excellent. Le produit est solide, grand et étanche. Les vis qui permettent de faire du couvercle une porte sont très bien pensées et c'est très pratique.Pour la fixation du boitier, j'ai ajouté un peu de silicone pour assurer l'étanchéité. Il est certain que le système aurait pu être revu à ce niveau, mais j'ai fait l'achat en connaissance de cause. Le prix et la taille étant parfait pour moi, j'ai fait cette concession.Je recommande l'achat de ce boitier.
