Lets get that out of the way for those who may expect something else and then rate it 1 star for their own ignorance. I got this as a star wars fan, these kits came as a great price for a little piece of merchandise. This is a great little kit, with good detailing and the parts fit perfectly. Decals are supplied for every part of the model that is not the base colour, (red stripes, yellow stirpes, the grey canopy, even the blue markings of R2D2) so it's a real easy build. Came with fancy colour instructions and the sprue trees in the box were sealed in a plastic bag.All in all a fun build, good representation of the X-Wing fighter albeit small but well detailed. So much so in fact I bought another one when it went down in price as an Addon item so I can make Wedge Antilles X-Wing to go with Lukes, and have subsequently bought also from the same series the Millenium Falcon, the Tie Interceptor and Snowspeeder.

I’d recommend to anyone looking for something to do on a rainy Sunday afternoon. The set doesn’t come with paints or glue, so make sure you order those too. The set looks good with some of the simile size sets. Really good set for beginners too. It wasn’t first time building and I found it really fun, and very simple as an introduction into model making.

Great Star Wars kit for beginners of model making.Not many parts & a nice introduction into gluing , painting & decal work.Very easy to follow instructions. Does not come with paints/glues (as expected with most kits) so if you want to paint, ensure you buy with or have it already.

Just felt I had to counter some of the negative reviews on this.On the image of the box, it clearly states that this model is 1/112 scale. It also even states the dimensions of the finished model in mm...If people want a finished model that will be bigger, they should go for a smaller scale rating such as 1/72 or 1/35 but you will not find those at this price range.These kits are great for the money, the enjoyment of building, painting and the satisfaction when what you have when finished can be enjoyed and displayed.I use mine for dioramas and have even customised models like the tie fighter with LEDs and battle damage.

Moderate and mediocre model at best. Small model and relatively easy to construct. But I won't be buying x-wing fighters from any manufacturer again, simply as I'm actually more interested in the fighters and AT models and am inclined to go for large models. A nice looking model is the x-wing but just not as interesting. Moderate detail. Disappointed with model. Wondering why exactly I brought it?

This is definitely designed for a child or newer modeller, but the detail it comes with might compete with bandai. It's a great representation of the x wing and 100% relies on the skills of the modellers, but it is possible to create a beautiful model, that will fit on any Star Wars themed shelf. The construction is very clear and simple, so it is recommended for newer modellers.

It’s amazing for the money , i have just started to get into building models and this xwing was a perfect start , it was a bit easy but that’s why there are levels so level 5 is hard and 4 but 3 is more for like just starting of but this was a great product really happy with it 🤛👍

I change my mind after talking to my son who found the decals. The nine year old grandson had opened the package and he did not put the decals back in the box. I apologize to Bolo and Revell. The model rates. 5 and we all learned a lesson!
