This is a combination of the finest spices, herbs and ghost pepper chillis. If you like it hot then this is the one for you. Carolina Reaper Phall curry is by far the hottest and spiciest in our curry powder range. Warning this makes a very very hot curry. 20% Carolina Reaper Powder. The worlds hottest chilli TREAT YOURSELF TO WHAT COULD BE THE WORLDS HOTTEST CURRY A British Asian creation, the terrifying phall eclipses the vindaloo in heat, delivering a punishing level of chilli in a tomato and ginger based sauce. It’s rumoured there are those who order their phall extra hot, which can necessitate the chef having to evacuate the kitchen and wear goggles while preparing the sauce. Phall (sometimes spelled fall, faal, fahl, phaal, phal or paal) is a British Asian Indian curry dish, which originated in Indian restaurants in Birmingham, UK. It is one of the hottest forms of curry regularly available, even hotter than the vindaloo, using a large number of ground standard chilli peppers, or a hotter type of chilli such as Ghost Pepper. Typically, the dish is a tomato-based thick curry and includes ginger and optionally fennel seeds This pack will serve 8 people.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great flavour
This Phall curry blend is my new favourite!Smells incredible, even people that can't tolerate spicy have said it smells really good.Has great flavour making for a very tasty curry and a nice gentle bite from the Reaper powder, but I like my curries to be atomic level so added in two jars of Reaper mash with 9 million SHU extract to produce what I wanted. An insanely hot & incredibly tasty curry that puts you through excruciating pain after a few bites and slaps you in the eyes as if you got pepper sprayed every time any of the fumes from the curry hit your face. The majority of the time I was eating this my mouth was in agony and my eyes were screaming and closed shut, but it was fantastic eating, glad I made enough to last a few days!
5.0 out of 5 stars Makes a nice and spicy curry....
Makes a half decent vindaloo.... I don’t bother with take aways anymore, this powder makes a spicy curry in 10 minutes, though I suggest cooking it for at least 20 and leaving to rest for at least a few hours for maximum flavours... a few tablespoons of powder, teaspoon of garlic and ginger respectively, and 500ml passata added to chosen meat, along with boiled potatoes and any veg of your choice if required (or potatoes and veg to keep it vegetarian if preferred) not forgetting a stock cube of your choice to match the key ingredients and it’s good to go. If it’s too spicy add more passata, or add powder gradually until spice level is achieved. This is my favourite chilli powder so far, and it is hot, you can make madras to a phal with this...🌶
5.0 out of 5 stars The best curry powder!
This is without a doubt the best curry powder on the market! It's not only hot, it's absolutely bursting with flavour, and a little bit goes a long way!You can add a tiny amount to milder curries, or use loads for a fiery phall! I don't make a curry, without using some of this curry powder, and my whole family enjoys it!Very happy to see these come in resealable bags now too!
4.0 out of 5 stars Tears, sweat and swearing.
When I make my husband a chilli with the spiciest ingredients, he calls it a bolognese. I tried to make him a curry using a lot of puréed reaper chilli and although he said it was a little spicy he laughed at my attempt. I actually ordered him an extra hot phall from the local takeaway and he ate the whole lot and didn’t even notice what it was. I decided to up my game and ordered this. I chose to ignore the “add two tablespoons” to a full curry part and I added *considerably* more than that. My poor husband works outdoors and took it for his lunch in the middle of nowhere - BIG mistake! It gave him stomach cramps and...Let’s just say I won and it’s actually put him off spice it was that hot and he had such a bad experience for hours. This was so spicy that it was burning my nose to smell and I had to open every window while cleaning the pot I made it in because it was just too much.Ha, bolognese he said.Highly recommend.
5.0 out of 5 stars Do not mess about with this stuff.
I tried a the very tip of a teaspoon of the powder, and it left my tongue in agony for at least 30 mins (there was probably 10 mins warm up to that). I used a flat desert spoon full in a curry for 2. I admit to using a high street branded Madras sauce backed up with fresh onions, peppers, some spice seeds and Al's Kitchen number 1 base. It came bl00dy hot. My missus, her with an asbestos mouth, even struggled. It took me an additional 45 mins to get through it. About an hour later I could wear my glasses without them steaming up. Good stuff but buyer beware!!!
5.0 out of 5 stars Spicy
Bought this expecting it to be slightly less spicy than a typical phall from the indian. I didn't follow the recipe but used our own curry recipe and replaced usual curry powder with this, and it definitely improved the flavour to me.Now, I made a big portion which was probably a mistake. It didn't make me sweat but from the first bite my lips were on fire, by the time I was half way in my nose was running a bit. It is definitely hot, I told my partner that it's probably too hot and next time we'd use less but in hindsight I think it was actually a good amount.I love spicy food, and I only really ever get it when we get an indian takeout. However this definitely satiated my hunger for spice and so I think to have that level of spice every 2 or 3 weeks is acceptable, I may try with half a spoon less of the powder or so next time but it has really impressed me. It's too often something says spicy and isn't, you actually get what you expect here.
5.0 out of 5 stars This does the job
I will generally add this to ones of the 500g supermarket bought sauces (Asda's Own Jalfrezi)1 teaspoon will gives you the same heat that a hot takeaway curry gives, 2 teaspoons will be a hotter any dish most takeaway do.4 teaspoons and I was pacing around the kitchen struggling to eat it, then got mild stomach cramps afterwards from the capsaicin
