I absolutely love the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Makeup Sponge! It’s hands down one of the best beauty sponges I’ve ever used. It arrived in plenty of time exactly as it appears in the photo. For those pining for a beautyblender this is hands down the best dupe for a fraction of the price. I've been using this sponge every single day since I bought it, I like the finish this leaves better than when I use my fingers or a brush. Unlike many cheap knockoffs, this is lovely and soft after soaking, but it's also nice and sturdy and takes a lot of wear and tear. I tend to use the flat edge (which the beautyblender doesn't have), you can pat on or blend foundation very quickly and easily, and you can get around your nose and right under your eyes without resorting to the tip. You can also use this for applying blush, bronzer and blending cream contour. Cream and liquid products work best, but I feel it's too damp for powders. It's easy to clean with a bit of soap, though sometimes I think foundation sticks in it and refuses to come out. It will become stained, but all sponges do.My only problem with it is I feel it sucks up a little of my foundation but at the same time, you can never quite squeeze all the water out after soaking it.

This sponge is great for applying your foundation. Makes an even application every time. Easy to wash in the washer or under a warm tap. Great product. Would recommend

I purchased the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge as a more budget-friendly alternative to the Beauty Blender, which is quite pricey, especially given the need to replace sponges regularly for hygiene. This sponge is slightly smaller but just as soft, making it easy to use and perfect for getting into the face’s crevices. It gives a smooth, brush-stroke-free application for liquid and cream products and creates a natural, dewy finish. I have used Real Techniques for years, long before they had a high profile, and am always grateful to how all their "tools" aid my makeup application. Other products just don't compare. I have all their brushes etc and this beauty blender sponge is a game changer. It feels soft and comfortable on your face, is ergonomically designed to fit in your hand well but firm enough to apply makeup for a flawless finish. I use Fenty makeup mostly and the combination is a winner for me. Wash with care, just gently squeeze the cleaning product through the sponge and don't twist or wring it out. Don't rub it on a brush scrubber pad or anything abrasive and it will last well. Thanks Sam & Nic. And if you want to use my review title as a strapline let me know ;)

Parfaitement parfait, ne peluche pas.

Ok but absorbs too much product. Maybe this is a newer version of the product?

Real techniques seems to have changed their product. These newer sponges are lighter, airier and appear to absorb more product. I miss the denser one…I may try another brand the next time I run out of beauty blenders.
