Unlike oven dried chilli flakes, Chilli Wizards Hells Flakes are dried slowly over a 12 hour period, this allows the flakes to keep the original vibrant reds and yellow colours present in the fresh pods. Also, the heat and fragrance associated with super-hots is preserved, giving these flakes a freshness not usually found in commercially available dried chilli products. Great blend of peppers and fresh as always, chilli wizards know what they are doing. I really enjoyed the slightly smoky aftertaste and the very slow but intense heat build up. Solid blend !

Great little mix of flavours , I generally like my food laced with chillis , whilst not overly hot straight the way , this mix has a nice creeping burn that then gets hotter and hotter until your begging for the feeling to return to your tongue :-P , treat with caution , and make sure wash your hands before rubbing your eyes after handling these flakes :-)Would buy again , great product

I thought these would be a little hotter than usual chilli flakes available in supermarkets. I was very much mistaken. They are incredibly hot! Be careful how much you use as they set your mouth on fire! Good value for money as you get a decent amount and you can’t use much at a time.

Spicy but not hell hot. These flakes are quite hot and have a nice flavour but just for use as a condiment. There are many other things out there much hotter than this but is a good step between supermarket available heat and the next stage up.
