Not too shabby at all. This is kinda a 3.5 stars for me, it loses half a star for the brand name, which is always hit and miss. The upside is, there is a 3 year warranty on the saw for manufacturers defects, so if motor dies and you have registered it online the factory will replace or refurbish the tool. Just note you will have to contact Silverline directly not Bolo or Bolo marketplace seller.The blade that it comes with is terrible, bin it and don't risk damaging the tool. As another reviewer pointed out it is not set up and you need to adjust the slide and stabilizer on the bottom before use. I have had success with both U-shank and T-shank blades. T-shank seem to do better than the U-shank, that said what blades are intended for it are a mystery. The manufacturer states T-shank yet they send a U-shank in the box? It does come with an extra set of brushes so if it stops working try replacing those first, just like you would in a cars alternator. Although I am guessing most people are not that savvy today and spend most of their free time wasted on mobile devices.....

Def wouldnt buy it!!Used it to cut a hole for hut.The vibration is abs horrendous and messes up the cut leaving it very ripped jagged bad. Abs aweful. Rough edges because of vibration. I managed to get it to do one job i needed it for. But not the 2nd job i needed to do.ill go buy a boschBad quality. Jigsaws are meant to be able to give you a better controlled cut, its aweful.I need it to cut wood for a reptile enclosure window arwa. I cant use it for the window area its a mwas the cut i dud for the end of box.

It's OK for the price, cuts through thick bits of wood with some elbow grease. There was one blade included that I am still using. A lot more noisier and vibration than expected which tends to throw off the cut. So I wouldn't say you could get a really accurate cut with it. The wire is long enough for general use.I think if you were looking for a very accurate cut, a better machine would be a better investment.
