I’ve been searching everywhere for silver and black bin like this, it may be cheap and cheerful but my last one cost £5 and lasted about 15yrs! I was able to remove the lid and put it in the dishwasher to keep it clean. Really sturdy, holds a full black bag of rubbish, and lid is easy and convenient, great access, I’ve used more expensive bins and the metal lids catch your fingers so much.. so with this being plastic, that doesn’t happen. Would highly recommend, doesn’t take up much room, great replacement and colour way!! I certainly didn’t want to spend £60+ on a kitchen bin, when this one looks great and does the job, it also won’t cost loads to replace if the lid catch breaks!

Unfortunately this arrived with a piece of the lid broken. Fortunately it was the side of the lid so although it doesn't affect the way the lid works it does look strange with a piece missing. The packing was non existent it just arrived in a battered cardboard box with no protective material around the bin itself, which with the way couriers handle parcels is a bit of a lottery. The bin itself is perfect as a large bin bag takes about 4/5 days to fill.

The bin itself is very big and a lovely colour, but the push button on the lid is clearly defective, as myself and other reviewers have noticed it is very difficult to use. Mine is very stiff and most times I have to prise the bin open with my fingers, which obviously defeats the purpose. I've been using it for almost 2 months and it's not loosening whatsoever.The seller is refusing a return stating it can't be faulty because the others in that batch are fine - total joke.To summarise - poor quality and even poorer customer service.
