Meguiars - a Carnauba wax for that extra protection for your car

This product gets five stars in my book for quality, ease of use and value for money.I was looking for options for hard wax polishes for my car. Having tried another brand of carnauba hard wax polish on my car first, I then found the Meguiars carnauba paste wax and upon reading the specification on its properties I decided to try it out.With this hard wax polish it is the additives to the carnauba wax that make the difference. First, it is easy to apply as it seems to spread more readily, you can wax the whole car in one thin coat. You do not have to cover a small area at a time, before having to polish off. After the wax has dried it is noticeably easier to polish off than other makes of carnauba wax and you are not left with hard to remove swirls of wax that can sometimes occur.This wax polish provides a higher level of protection than other liquid polishes. It may not be quite as quick or easy to apply as liquid polishes, however there is not a great deal of difference in effort, but the improvement in appearance and protection is appreciable.Since the paintwork on my car is not perfect, it being 16 years old, I have to use a clear polish on it. The majority of liquid polishes when dried and polished off leave a white residue which fills any blemishes in the paintwork, no matter how hard you rub. With the Meguiars this does not occur.Coverage of the product is economical, a little goes a long way. Duration of the polish appears to be good since I applied it. Rain and condensation still bead nicely on it and when dry enough, it is but a moment or two to remove dust from the car and bring back an excellent shine.This is not the cheapest wax polish on the market, but for a small amount of effort the appearance and lasting quality of this product speak for themselves.Just how long the polish protection will last I don't yet know as it is now 5 weeks (across Dec. - Jan.)and counting, since I applied it.No hesitation whatsoever in recommending this wax polish for those whose take an interest in the appearance and preservation of their cars.

Easy to use and the result is the best I have ever come across.

I have been polishing cars for some 50 years. I have used Turtle Wax for all of that time. Readers will know it dries to a white surface powder which one then rubs off; this takes a great deal of effort and time but leaves a good finish. Well this stuff is unbelievable, a miracle even!! Just spray it on in small areas and polish off. Instead of taking an age it took 15/20 minutes and the car looks amazing as good as the work out that old fashion paste wax requires. I really can't recommend it enough....Sorcery in a bottle even!!

BEST WAX I'VE EVER USED

Let me start by saying I've cleaned and waxed my own cars for years. My most recent black car needed fine swirl taking out which meguiars ultimate compound was fantastic for. Then I used this wax - the results were really amazing. Takes about 15 mins to apply and take off but really does give a show room shine. Also you use such a small amount each time - I do my 3 series monthy and have had this a year and still have over half left. Also with black some fine swirl will come back but as soon as its waxed this disappears. Another great point is you can apply it one the rubber seals too as it doesn't leave white marks and protects them too. Personally I apply to side and rear windows too as the rain just runs straight off but avoid the windscreen as the wipers don't like it and they start to judder when there not much rain. Stays on for at least 2 washes but would reapply by the 3 third wash sooner or I f you want to maintain show room look. The pad that comes with it to apply is ok but starts to get bits and dirt building up it in so its better with a micro filber applicator pad ( round ones with sponge in middle) which meguiars also do. I've added a picture of the pain work after applying and this is a year after taking out the swirl some of which is back due to needing to have it washed at local hand car wash and they will always have bits of dirt in their water and wash mitts given how many cars they get through plus they don't wash out the mitt and move from very dirty parts like sills to bonnet - truely a great product you won't be disappointed. I even had someone ask me if I had bought a brand new car after waxing it given the showroom finish as they couldn't see from the plate it was a 2008!!

I wanted a quick detailing spray or wax and opted for this one. I am a bit of a fan of Meguiar's truth be told.This will probably be used right after washing to help with preventing hard water spots. If the car is left wet because of the hard water area here it looks a mess.I have a black car and this always shows imperfections quickly, yet the trade off is a lovely looking shine when it has been polished. I usually use AG polishes but these do take a while to apply and polish off if done properly. During summer it also can't really be done when its hot or sunny.It is super easy to apply, just spray on lightly and then with a nice dry microfiber just buff off. The level of deep shine is very impressive for a liquid wax.As long as you are thorough there is no residue left, of course with a polish this would be white, but with this product you can just make out a more greasy mark if you don't fully buff this out.This is also super quick, you can cover entire panels in seconds! That is probably the real benefit for this type of product.You can also apply this in sun or hot conditions, so another bonus.The shine has really held up over the last week or so but the full test is when it next rains a few times to see how long the beading goes.This isn't the cheapest way to polish a car, since with a bottle or tin of polish you can polish your car tens of times at least, but with this bottle I can see this only lasting maybe 5 times at most.So, overall, for a quick detail to bring up the shine and for a super quick go over this is a great product!

A great spray polish for the best shine, would'nt use anything else. leaves no smears can be used on the glass as well and easily brings out the best shine on your car and on Bolo a great price as well.
