L'Oréal have managed to banish ammonia completely yet produce a permanent hair dye range with exact and predictable colours and up to 100% coverage of white hair. It works like this: Instead of ammonia breaking open the cuticle to let the colour in, Inoa uses an innovative oil-based delivery system. The colour molecules in Inoa literally hate oil, but love water. That means that as soon as you apply Inoa to hair, they force themselves inside the hair to get to the water that's there and away from the oil. The absence of ammonia means no unpleasant odours, better scalp comfort for your clients and great hair condition after treatment. There are 60 shades spread over 9 colour families featuring both naturals and reflects. The new ODS² Inoa system has got rid of all the hassle of the original 3-part system and now Inoa comes in single tubes in a simple colour-+-developer system like other colour ranges. Development time is just 35 minutes.

1. Apply Inoa to hair, allowing color molecules to force themselves inside the hair due to their preference for water over oil. 2. Leave it on for a development time of 35 minutes. 3. After 35 minutes, the hair coloring process with Inoa is complete.

I really like the consistency and its not messy. I would buy this product again.

Really disappointed with this product. Have used it twice now, and the colour washes out within a few days. Somethings not right with what’s in the tube…not sure if it’s the real deal. As I have used this for years and never had a problem. Only with this set of colours from this supplier.
