I recently purchased a whole wheel (7.5kg) of this cheese raclette, and I must say, it has exceeded all my expectations. The cheese is incredibly creamy, melting to perfection and aging beautifully in its vacuum-sealed bag.One of the highlights of my experience was cold smoking half of the wheel. After a well-deserved three weeks of rest, the result was already impressive. However, the magic truly happened after a generous seven weeks of additional aging – the smoked variant reached a whole new level of flavor and texture.The quality of this cheese speaks for itself, and the versatility is outstanding. Whether enjoyed in its classic form or experimented with through techniques like cold smoking, the cheese maintains its exceptional taste and consistency.The vacuum-sealed packaging ensures that the cheese stays fresh and ages gracefully. A safe option to use with a raclette machine or under the grill, this cheese melts perfectly over potatoes. A fairly mild flavour but melts perfectly. We tend to slice it when we get it and freeze most of it as it is a large amount of raclette, and it tastes just as good from frozen as fresh.

I like the flavour of this cheese, it is quite strong and pongant. Smells like bastement and feet but it tastes great. It was used in lots of pasta dishes even mac and cheese and it was very good. It was stored in the fridge and it was used up in 3 weeks. It did not go bad at all. It did start making the whole fridge smell but we used it up. I am satisfied with the amount you get with what you pay for. I got the 1kg one for £16.95. I recommend this for sure!

Prompt delivery, well packaged, and most importantly, lovely tasty meltyness.Love raclette, having first experienced it many years ago in a Swiss restaurant with friends in Luxembourg.I find it difficult to buy without heading for a reasonably sized Waitrose (Nottingham one is now closed) or paying silly money at a deli, so when I got a mini version of my raclette grill for Christmas, I decided to get myself a kilo to try out.I've got to say it's lovely - as good (perhaps better?) as any other I've bought either here or on the continent.And the portion delivered was a good 10% over the stated weight.My only reservation, is that there was no info or labelling about source / manufactureWill definitely buy again
