Directions
1. Before each use, oil the blades with the supplied oil following the instructions provided in the instructions for use. 2. Turn on the appliance and wait a few seconds to allow the oil to spread well on the blades. 3. Adjust the desired cutting position using the five available control positions. 4. For a close cut, use the left and right taper guides. 5. For a separate cut of the neckline and paws, use the separate cut provided. 6. After use, unplug the device and remove the guide combs. 7. Remove the blades and brush them to remove hair and debris. 8. Rinse the guide combs with water and dry them thoroughly before storage or use. 9. Make sure the blades are properly aligned before tightening the screws. 10. Clean and carefully store all accessories and tools included in the kit."}

I bought a set of these some 12 - 15 years ago & only the last couple of times that I’ve used them after all of that time have they started to act up not cutting evenly so it takes a good number of going over the same places to get an even cut, but I was so happy to see them still on sale all of these years later so that along with my praise & I’m seriously doubting that I’m alone with praise for these shows the overall approval of these head shears.They work brilliantly, they don’t heat up stupidly fast, their attachments are correct in measurements, they’re fairly lightweight, the oil bottle is small like most others but a fill with olive oil, rapseed or vegetable oil does the job of oiling them after all oil’s oil (juse just avoid motor oil & the likes of WD40 as these are going to come into skin contact) yes they’re plug in not battery powered but they do the job of shaving head hair brilliantly. (also they’re great if you like the short all around facial hair cut as in the not completely clean shaven look).My old set lasted around a decade & a half (if not a little longer thinking about it) because I always thoroughly cleaned them after use giving them a brush down followed with an oil always & by leaving enough power cable room at the base loose so it wouldn’t pull out & split which along with lack of cleaning & oiling are the main reasons hair clippers ruin so easily, I also carefully wrapped the power lead around the product, I looked after them basically & if you do that you get in kind in return.A top product giving a smooth cut at a great price.

Having cut the hair of all the guys in my family for many years this was the first BaByliss clippers that I have bought. I was delighted with them and I reckon they are a great improvement on the brand I previously used.I always go for corded clippers so I do not have to worry about battery levels or them dying out as I use them. There is a good length of cable & I noticed that hair does not get stuck in the end which is great. Easy to clean & I have found a really good product that I will stick to for the future.

BaByliss for Men Pro Hair Cutting Kit Arrived well packaged and in a timely fashion. Product was exactly as described.On opening the product seems of good quality and has a nice selection of accessories, basically all you would need for use and maintenance of the trimmer. The exception being the side burn trimmer which does not look or feel durable. Also the cheap plastic box included is not much use as the top does not shut all that well and it is barely big enough to contain everything. Would have being perfect if the plastic box had a few simple compartments or clips so it kept everything organized.The trimmer itself is well put together, the on/off switch operated with a nice feel and all the attachments fitted to the trimmer with no issues. The power cord was a good length and the trimmer was reasonably quite in use.I'm very pleased with the performance of the trimmer, just a clean safe cut with no snagging or pulling hair.Overall I am very happy with this product and would recommend to others.

I have short hair and not getting it cut was driving me up the wall, so I decided to take the plunge and cut it myself for the first time. I was pretty nervous as I have had hairdressers really botch my hair in the past! Watched a few youtube videos and got cracking.The value of this set is unbelievable - not one but two clippers, loads of guards, clipper oil, and the straight scissors and clips too. It all fits easily into the plastic box that it comes in for storage. The only thing not included is thinning shears, which I had already bought earlier in lockdown anyway.The clippers cut really well - they didn't snag or pull and it didn't take long at all to get the whole way round my head. The guards work well - you don't end up with bald spots if you don't get the angle spot on, which I was afraid of. I used the different length guards for a fade effect on the back and sides, then trimmed the top and fringe with the straight scissors. I'm so pleased with the result! I'd say it's 95% as good as a proper haircut - and just a first attempt too. Presentable for work again at last.

This really is a great bit of kit. Initially I bought this just for male trimming; without being rude, for armpits etc ;). It honestly does the best job that I've yet to experience.You will see an arm in the photo upon the side of the trimmer for example, which allows the user to extend or retract the blades for a very close shave and it does that without catching the skin.I then got to thinking if I should let my partner cut my hair too, so I dont have to trudge off down the barbers every three weeks (my hair seems to grow faster than Chewbacca) and also to continually have to make boring conversation. A few You Tube videos later and I now have my very own home stylist.....marvellous!The kit seems to comes with everything. There's a reasonable pair of scissors, a plethora of shaving guides from number 1 onwards and even a seperate battery operated close proximity trimmer, which I have not needed thus far, as the main shaver does everything. Babyliss seem to have thought about this too, as the wire, for once, seems to be long enough to stretch from my wall socket in the hallway right the way to the bathroom sink (just about, small hallway)All in all I'm really pleased with it and I've rated it 5 star, because I honestly can't seem to think of something bad to say.

Poor quality product ended up in trash
From the very beginning I noticed the poor quality of materials specially the box but I said to give it a try. I plugged it in and try to adjust it as it didn't cut well. As you can see in the photo the adjustment is simply malfunctioning. I was so disappointed and honestly I just trashed it, I don't understand how come this product has so many positive reviews. Maybe in the past was a good product cause the brand is pretty well known and used in the saloons but now days, at list this product, is trash .
