This is absolutely gorgeous for your hair. It keeps my curls nice. It smells incredible and it does seem to be effective. It’s quite lightweight so you don’t need to use a lot of it but it is extremely moisturising so a little goes a long way I’d say for the price this is brilliant value for money.

I have wavy/curly hair (2b/3) and have recently converted to CG method - which finding affordable products for is a bit of a nightmare. I discovered Cantu and decided to try out this hair mask. After a clarifying rinse I applied this all over my hair, focusing on the extremely dry hair at the nape of my neck. The product is very thick and a little goes a long way so I was happy I didn’t have to use half the tub! I sat under my heat cap for 30 minutes with this on and then rinsed it out. I was a bit skeptical when I was rinsing it out because my hair felt a bit weighed down and was a lot straighter than normal. But after a scrunch, applying my styling Creme and gel and a quick diffuse my hair felt amazing. It’s so soft and smells delicious. Even my stubborn nape hair that is always extremely dry no matter what I do feels silky. I am so impressed will definitely be buying more from Cantu!

This is super thick but I have fine curly 4b hair and I find that it weighs my hair down, even when rinsed, it leaves a residue on my hair. It has helped with the frizz and it has nourished my hair, but I have to shampoo, apply the mask, rinse out and then apply normal conditioner to wash out the buildup feeling the mask leaves behind. It does make my hair super soft though so I’ll give it a 3*

I LOVE THIS ITEMIt's well priced, lasts forever and leaves my hair feeling soft and hydrated. I feel that it works best when used overnight, to allow more time to penetrate the hair shaft but if you're low on time, it's a great substitute for a regular/leave in conditioner. Especially when you're low on time and in need of extra hydration.
