The pack contains some paperwork cards,stickers the game disc and your first Giant Skylander Tree Rex. Despite the game title its hard even as an adult to not think.."wow he really is giant". It is also impossible not to be impressed when placing him on the Portal causes his eyes and photosynthesis cannon light up. Essentially, it's a really nice model and your Skylander fan kids will be suitably impressed.The game itself has a familiar feel about it, many elements of the storyline and missions will make you feel right at home without leaving you feeling like you've done it all before. There are some great 'in-game' games to play in addition to the story chapters. Possibly the most exciting being 'Arena mode' which is activated after completing one of the early chapters. Skystones is also a good addition helping your younglings to learn how to think strategically.One small but nice touch is giving you something to do with the 'legendary treasures' you find along the way. In way similar to Skylanders Online, where you change the appearance of your Skylands, you can customise your 'base of operations' (don't want to give away too much).There are a few things to be aware before diving in:1)You can use series 1 Skylanders but they won't increase in level or add their heroic challenges. You can, however, spend the oodles of money they might have accumulated previously in this game..very useful. EDIT: 13/11/2012 Actually the series 1 Skylanders DO level up to 15!2)To upgrade you Skylanders stats to the max. You will have to purchase the Series 2 skylanders and Giants to make stat improving Heroic challenges available.3)You can get through the game with 1 Giant and your old Series 1 SkylandersThere is no question though, this is a great game, its not just a 'release it quick and cash in' cop out. The developers have struck a rather nice balance of making a huge add-on available for Skylanders, whilst generating themselves continued income. They have to be entitled to something don't they? Adults can enjoy it as much as the kids, its not just about shooting! It seems to be raining an awful lot these days, but in our household rainy days are great because me and the kids spend time playing together...now if we could just convince mum to give it a try.Update 08/11/2012:Have seen a review regarding the portal not being compatible. This is doesn't make sense unless The Nintendo Wii pack was purchased and used with the DS Portal??? We are using our original portal.

I bought Spyros adventure for my children earlier in the year and then this Giants booster pack recently.The price is excellent at only £22.99.Both my boys (age 4 and 6) are Skylanders fanatics - completely obsessed however i have to say they have played this for a couple of weeks and have already finished the final level and are asking to play Spryros adventure again (even though they have completed that 95%).Spyros adventure has so many different levels and tasks whereas i feel that this game has been a rush job to cash in on the popular franchise.I have still however have given this 4 stars as my boys have both enjoyed it and at £22.99 which included the game and a Giant Tree Rex figure its a bargain.

My son was excited to get his new giant and game and he doesn't seem to be disappointed. Skylanders are our sons first wii game and it's great (obviously in short doses). He does have to think about the different levels, which skylanders works better in which zone etc so not too brain numbing. As with any computer game I expect we have to be strict about how long he can play on it and stick to it.

It was a christmas present for my son, he rushed through it very quickly and now he has completed all the missions he is not interested in playing with it. It is just really the latest fad for children. It is not a cheap present and the giants you have to buy to go with it add to the expense, however my younger son really loves it so it is well used and there are lots of challenges and games to play as you go along the adventure.

We bought the Skylanders Starter pack albeit from another supplier and it included (The Portal pad, Game on Disc, three characters, 'Tree-rex', 'Cinder' and 'Jet Vac', a Poster of all the characters, and some 'top-trumps' type playing/Trading cards.When we received the 'BOOSTER PACK' it included (Game on Disc, one character 'Tree-Rex', a poster of all the characters and some 'top-trumps' type playing/trading cards). Now call me stupid but as soon as I saw the duplicate character and read the contents on the side of the box, I thought £45ish for a cut-down and mostly duplicated set of the Starter pack was a hugh rip-off.Nowhere in the online product descriptions does it clearly describe what you get in the Booster pack, and thus this is extremely misleading. I then spent from the 7th Decmber 2012 until 4th January obtaining appropval for a refund, I had to repackage the (fortunately unopened) package, pay for return postage, get proof of postage from the Post Office, be told by the supplier that they couldn't find it back in their warehouse for several days, and now finally have satisfaction.Let me make it clear that I do not blame Bolo nor gzoop, who have kept in good communications all along, but as for the Skylanders company, I cannot comment on them without using expletives.

After waiting months for its release my son was very disappointed in game. It only has 16 levels and he says he liked the adventures in spyro much better. Blew through game in less than a week and hasn't looked at it again. Not sure if it's worth buying more special characters that are supported by the giants game.

Purchased for my son, who already Skylanders so only needed the Booster Pack - well worth the money. Game lived up to expectations and is good, with good graphics and a good story base to it, and lots of action. Would recommend this game.

I ordered this for my 9 year old. He absolutely loves it. The figures for the original Skylanders are compatible and the new Skylanders look very impressive, lit up on the portal of power. His favourite is hotdog. I would recommend this , albeit expensive, new game .

bonjour j ai trouvé votre jeu très bien .Il est encore mieux que skylanders spyros adventure .J ai eu 2 géants en plus : hot head et bouncer.Et entre les trois, mon préféré est ... hot head!!!Et mon second , ex-aequo entre tree rex et bouncer.

La descripción del juego es correcta. Es un booster pack que no lleva portal ni idioma en español. Por ese precio demasiado bien está. En mi caso tengo los portales de superchargers, swap force y trap team, por lo que este pack es perfecto para no llenar la casa de portales guardados en sus cajas (el último portal que sale siempre es compatible con todos los juegos anteriores).

Ideal si ya tienes el anterior

il prodotto e' venduto senza una piattaforma assolutamente necessaria per giocare,quindi ho dovuto ricomprare lo stesso gioco in un negozio (era un regalo e non avevo piu' tempo per riacquistarlo su Bolo) . ho quindi speso il doppio.
