We have purchased it numerous times and he always asks as enjoys watching the process or making our own food from literal powder!!Personally, the taste isn’t amazing in my eyes but he seems to love it and has lots of fun which makes it value for money in my eyes.Great quality kit and enjoyment for my child so win win!
5.0 out of 5 stars Tastes a bit funny but loads of fun
All instructions are for a 700w microwaveYou'll have 5 containers, we will refer to them as: Three circles, Triangle, Square, Water scoop and Soda cupYou'll have 6 powder packs, Brown (burger), Orange (bun), Blue (cheese), Pink (soda), Yellow (fries) and Red (ketchup)1st the French fries.Empty Yellow powder into the Triangle container, add 2 scoops of water using the Water scoop and mix till there is no more visible powder then mush down and place the container in the microwave for 30 sec. Then slice down the ridges to make the fries shape.2nd the burgers and bun.Empty the Brown powder into the Square container, add 2 scoops of water using the Water scoop and mix till there is no more visible powder then empty the mush into the middle section of the Three circle container and mush down till it takes its shape.Empty the Orange powder into the Square container, add 2 scoops of water using the Water scoop and mix till there is no more visible powder then separate equally in to two parts and empty each part into the remaining two slots of the Three circle container left and right and mush down till it takes its shape. Now that the Three circle container is filled with two buns and one burger you can place it in the microwave for 30 seconds.3rd the cheese.Empty Blue powder into the square container, add 1 scoops of water using the Water scoop and mix till there is no more visible powder then empty onto flat surface and mush into a flat oblong and cut into two pieces, judge how big they should be by the fact that they are the cheese to the very small burger.4th ketchup.Empty Red powder into the square container, add 2 scoops of water using the Water scoop and mix till there is no more visible powder, at first it will seem weak looking but it quickly starts to look like ketchup.5th soda.Empty Pink powder into the cup container, add 1 scoops of water and watch it fizz then add additional water until it's about a centimetre from the top.6th and final stepAdd it all together to make a "happy meal"2 cheeseburgers, a portion of French fries and a cola drink... Enjoy
4.0 out of 5 stars Fun activity. Tasted horrible.
This was a lot of fun to make with my daughter. She enjoyed mixing it up and putting all together. The cola was nice and tasted like cola bottle sweets. The fries tasted like smash and the burger was just vile.
5.0 out of 5 stars Recommended Activity
Suitable for teenagers. Recommended purchase. Approximately 45 minutes to sort and cook.10/10 fun activity confirmed by teenager. No English instruction. However, easy to find on Google search.Taste wise not so sure 😀. I am calling it space man food.I would like to sample the other kits.
1.0 out of 5 stars Don't bother
The product arrived incredibly late, with a huge hole through it which thankfully didn't ruin the actual thing. But once I did make it the whole house stunk of the product (which I really don't know how to describe because it was so awful) and it completely ruined my microwave. The things I made looked nothing like the one in the package and the only remotely enjoyable thing about this experience was the making, which involved only stirring. And if you ask me stirring a few pots is not worth making my entire house stink of rotten potatoes. I should also add that there are no instructions on how to make it in English so you can either guess or look up the tutorials on youtube.
5.0 out of 5 stars Fun to construct - vile taste
It was actually surprisingly fun to spend an evening constructing this, and a really weird head trip when you smell the powders and they smell like what they’re supposed to be - i.e. bread powder smells like bread and so forth. The instructions are all written in Japanese, but the pictures are easy to follow and there are many video tutorials online. However, it does taste absolutely vile, which I suppose is to be expected from a hamburger which is constructed entirely out of mysterious powder and water! The taste is sort of like a really cheap hamburger (think Rustlers), but I think it is still enjoyable to make.
3.0 out of 5 stars Fun! Tasty? not so much
These DIY kits are so much fun!I tried these out for a YouTube video and I'd say they certainly lived up to my expectation. They were fun to make, and although there aren't detailed English instructions, its possible to work out what is going on by the pictures - there are certainly many websites that have the instructions if you google it.Although the process itself was worth it, I think it lacked slightly in the taste department. They didn't taste quite like they were supposed to, but given that they were trying to recreate a burger using powder, I think they did a good jobOverall I would recommend these as a fun present
5.0 out of 5 stars Cute product!
I probably wouldn’t pay the price again but this was a cute activity to do with my daughter, making all the food kept her off her ipad for a good 30 minutes! We didn’t dare to taste as the smell was a bit off putting.
Fun gift, definitely recommend

Fun and tasty
Made this with my 11 year old niece who loves cooking, and loves miniature/cute stuff. Lots of fun, and well... not exactly delicious but it's candy and it's sweet so the kids loved it.

mini hamburger
