Have used a range of these clays and the white one is softer and easier to sculpt. Can be more brittle on small details .Have used in combination with the skintone clay as this has greater durability and works well in thin layers on an armature.
Great Quality Clay for Beginners and Projects at Home
I used this Original Sculpey white polymer clay for some small home crafting projects, and I’m really impressed with how easy it is to work with. The clay stays soft until you bake it, which gives you plenty of time to shape and fix your designs without feeling rushed. I used it to make miniature figures and decorative pieces, and the results were great once baked—firm and durable.What I love most is that it’s non-toxic and safe to use indoors, even around kids (with supervision, of course). It’s perfect for beginners or anyone doing DIY crafts, school projects, or just exploring creativity at home.One thing to note is that it's a bit softer than other brands, so if you're doing fine details, you might need to chill it a bit first. But overall, it’s very forgiving and easy to mold.Highly recommend this for anyone looking for reliable oven-bake clay for everyday use!

Extremely good stuff to work with. Knead first and create the shapes you want. You can useSmaller/ sharper chisel like tools for surface details. 20 mins in the conventional oven - Viola! Youget your sculpture hard baked and shatter proof. You can further adjust minor polishes by using ascalpel and paint on top with acrylic colours.

Je commence les figurines en pate polymère et cette argile est juste parfaite. Elle s'utilise facilement, ne durci par à l'air et garde parfaitement sa taille et sa forme au four sans risque de se craqueler. Une fois cuit, on peut aisément peindre à l'acrylique dessus sans problème. Le rendu final est top.Lorsqu'elle n'est pas cuite, la pâte est facilement maléable pour la mettre autour d'une base en fil de fer ou en aluminium, elle ne bouge pas et ne s'étire pas seule. Avec le doigt ou des outils, on peut facilement fondre les raccords sans problème.
Soft, amazing clay
I really love this clay. It’s soft, and warms up easily in my hands. I love this clay as you can work on a piece for days at a time, and it won’t dry out for a looong time. It’s great to bake off your piece and not worry about it getting squashed like air dry clay (although each to their own!). I notice that when you bake it, the almost ivory white clay settles down into a very light grey (I personally don’t mind).,
