Very surprised when I opened the box, the cans are 850g! I hadn't realised that, so excellent value. 3 of the cans are quite dented so not good and what only 4 stars.The cherries though are absolutely delicious. They look more red than black but are still very yummy and low calorie. Cans dated until 2027 but not sure they'll last me that long. Good quality and value for money, if you like cherries well worth buying

Sampled these lovely green figs on a cruise and was delighted to be able to buy from the internet - can't find them on the High Street. These are the exact figs that P&O uses, I'm sure - Cooks & Co the best. They are more like greengage plums than figs. Well worth buying the big tins and for 6, at an extremely reasonable price. Am definitely going to bere-stocking my cupboard with these delicious figs! Highly recommended.

On opening the first tin of figs, I discovered that the syrup had congealed into an unpleasant-looking jelly, similar to that surrounding tinned meat. The figs were edible once the jelly had been scraped off, but I do not want to risk repeating the process with the remaining five tins, which I shall have to throw away as it is too late to request a refund. The batch expiry date, incidentally, is 30/12/23.

I am so dissapointed at this product. I love cherries, juicy and tasty normally and was not at all expecting these soft mushy tasteless things. It seems to me as if they were canned years ago and something you might give your pigs if you have any. I usually buy cherries on glass from Danish company and they are always super, real tasty and just as good as when they were fresh. These however - you can eat them but its not much fun. Maybe you can use them in a pie but for what you get for your money they are not worth it. Buy canned peaches or pineapples instead from other company, those are great with lovely taste and fresh.
