Tried a bunch of root beers recently and decided this was in my top two...the one(s) I'd return to when I'm in the mood for root beer.I like the full hit of proper sugar (and not the horrid sweeteners that have snuck their way into the fizzy drink landscape over the past decade) and I enjoy, frankly, the unsubtle flavour of the smack you in the mouth sarsaparilla root beer flavour with a nice fizz but no resultant caffeine effect (because these are caffeine-free). Mind you, the irony of these being caffeine-free is somewhat negated by the walloping sugar content so ironically you wouldn't want to drink these close to bedtime.Also, it should be pointed out that these score a zero (a zero!!!) on the Yuka app.Diet and health food this ain't, but if you don't care anyway and love an unhealthy fizzy drink then these are for you. Like when I'm drinking Red Coke, I turn a blind eye to the unhealthy content and take it in moderation.

I was a bit worried as the packaging was a bit different from the normal A&W root beer I tend to buy myself once a year as a treat, but this is still very tasty, albeit a tiny bit different from the normal A&W I get (that was more expensive than this one so thought I’d give this a go).This A&W root beer is made in Canada (explains why half the can is in English and the other half French!), and seems to be imported direct from there. Obviously it’s not cheap - but for an imported product it’s awesome!The root beer arrived in an Bolo box that seems to be made to fit this exact size so there was no protective packaging, which meant a few of the cans were dinged and dented, luckily I had a great delivery driver who took care of this package - I can imagine that if care isn’t taken with the box during transit, it could cause a leakage due to damage.Anyway…If you’ve never tried root beer (most brits haven’t), it’s like marmite (as in you’ll love it or hate it - not that it tastes like it!)I love it - my wife hates it. She thinks it smells and tastes like antiseptic mouthwash. I think it tastes awesome - I may agree it smells a little antiseptic-y.Just wish it was a little cheaper, and I’d have a constant supply throughout the year - although it’s nice to have it as a special treat once a year.I suppose if I had a constant stream of it I’d probably be the size of a house! :) luckily it’s caffeine free!!!When we go to America I tend to have a different brand, although that’s banned here in the UK due to too much of a certain additive in it!Be warned it is a polarising smell and taste - but it’s lovely! :)If you’re a fan of root beer, I’d definitely recommend it - if you’ve never tried it before, it might be worth trying someone else’s first as it really can be a love it or hate it drink! Of course you could always take the gamble that you may like it! :)

ok now THIS IS REAL root beer ..as we cannot even get BARGQ or MUGS in the ukthis is by far the better and the one you should buy over any otherperfect in a root beer float ..1 can of A and W1 medium vanilla macdees milk shakeput just under half of the milkshake in a pint glassthen pour the A and W slowly into the center till the foam reaches the topstirr with a straw till settles then pour more and drink as you go onthis is by far the BEST float you can make .. and its pretty much how the usa does it in maccdees(from what i can tell )

Desde hace muchos años me ha gustado la cerveza de raíz. Sobre todo de esta marca A&W. Sin embargo se ha vuelto difícil conseguir esta bebida en México. Pero gracias a Bolo la puedo disfrutar de nuevo.

À mon goût la root beer est peut-être le meilleur soda au monde avec le docteur pepper 😁Le tarif du pack de 12 est en gros équivalent au prix payé aux USA ou au Canada 👌Livraison très rapide.Je recommande vivement à tous ceux qui aiment ce soda 😎

Apres plus de 2 décennies passées aux USA, notre famille est revenue vivre en France. Mon fils était triste de ne pas pouvoir trouver sa boisson américaine préférée en France.
