This beats the pants off of any other low/mid end storage and at about half the price. I checked out the Halfords offering and decided I didn't like the build quality. That left me with Clarke or Sealey until I spotted this and I'm so pleased I chose to get it.I ordered on a Sunday and on Monday morning got an email from the supplier asking what colour I would like and what day I'd like it delivered on. I went for the black one and it turned up first thing on Wednesday morning.Just to illustrate the quality of this product, the packaging was exceptional and the contents in mint condition. I was a bit confused at first as it all came in one box the size of the base unit. I then discovered the ingenious method they had used to contain the top chest in the lower section. So, don't be confused like I was when a box that looks to small for both parts turns up.Draw liners in every draw and the top cabinet has a metal bar to help lock all the drawers shut which works well (hint - open the top lid to remove once unlocked).I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who isn't looking to spend on high-end storage, even then I'd suggest you think twice before spending crazy money.I'm off to see what other goodies these guys sell now I'm that impressed!

As a jobbing gardener who fixes his own machinery and a budding bike restorer I was outgrowing my very old trusty cantilever tool box. tools were all; over the place, and to be honest I was spending more time looking for tools than using them. So with some birthday money burning a hole in my pocket I began looking for something like this. Most in my price range were cheap nasty tat. The ones I liked were major money that I could not stretch too. So led by the reports on this site I placed an order. It arrived two days later was easy to unpack and set up (ten minutes) and holds all my tools in foam backed comfort. there is even room at the bottom for my 5 litre ultrasonic cleaner. Well built and sturdy and so very yellow. It locks well and has full sized casters for easy movement, but be aware that the bottom half has no lock that apart a fine well priced product.

The item was smaller than I had imagined! I would say it is more suited for a home enthusiast rather than anyone even remotely professional!The construction is good with a nice finish. The runners on the drawers are smooth and I had no issues with opening / closing although it will need oiling periodically but I expected as much. The reason it's lost a star is that the metal is slightly thinner than I would have liked and that, I suspect, is the main reason why people ordering it sometimes receives damaged goods (mines had a large dent in the back).I accepted the seller's offer of compensation, which helped me with time and the hassle of arranging its return (I may, ultimately, have received another damaged item any way!) but I strongly suspect it was the courier who probably didn't take the appropriate care.The tool chest is screwed into the large cabinet at the bottom of the unit and, when you receive your item, you have to unscrew the chest from the bottom of the unit, then unscrew a side panel and the chest is pulled out through the side. The panel can be replaced and the tool chest put on top of the unit (like the picture of the unit, posted by the seller).The drawers in the unit and the bottom drawer of the tool chest are slightly deeper than the other drawers, but the lid on the top of the tool chest opens upwards and gives you the deepest storage space in the unit.You also get a drawer 'divider' so you can organise your smaller items in a large drawer, and 4 small hooks which you fix to the side for hanging items from, as well as an open drawer which fixes onto the other side. Finally, the castors on the bottom are great - they can withstand the weight of the tools in the drawers and can still wheel around without the fear of them breaking.All in all, I am very happy with this item (I try not to think about the dent!) and would recommend this to anyone wanting to store their tools safely.

The tool chest arrived earlier than expected which was great. It was really well packaged and there was no damage at all. The chest is really sturdy for the price - ok it’s not for a professional mechanic but, for the DIYer it’s ideal. I had a very small problem removing the top box from the roll cab; it’s held in by four screws. The two front ones pass through plastic fittings and these tend to rotate as the screws are turned, preventing the screws coming out. Anyway, by slipping a 10 mm open ended spanner over them, it was then possible to remove the screws. So, all in all, a very satisfactory purchase. I will now be able to get rid of about five toolboxes

I have bee looking for a new tool cabinet for a while, up until now I have had various tool boxes which are disorganised and I wanted something to consolidate all of my tools into one place.I was a little nervous about what the quality may be like for this price, but I have been pleasantly surprised, this is a great quality tool box for the price, especially as it has ball bearing drawer runners as well. I imagine that it may not stand up to the rigours of daily use by a professional mechanic but for an amateur and occasional user like myself I can see that this will last a long time.

Well the tool box arrived on time. I had some concerns, because the carrier had not been gentle with it, judging by the looks of the box.But it was very well protected inside, and escaped without a mark.And I must say, it's an absolutely brilliant tool chest.The quality is great. It's sturdy and very well designed.I really don't know how they can produce an item of this quality, at this price.I have seen similar tool boxes at three times the cost, only being of comparable standard.I cannot fault this item. Simply brilliant for the money.Thank you.
