The container is ideal in that you can see the needles, all of which are separated into sections according to their purpose and size. There is a small hole in the rim which you ‘dial around’ to the needle you want which can then be removed.If this new Korbond compact is half as good as it’s predecessor I will be very happy.Excellent value for money - highly recommended.

I bought these, even though I rarely see, because I just wanted to have various sizes in case I felt desperate enough to sew something ( I am an awful, dangerous sewer, sewing for me involves a great deal of mess and stabbing myself repeatedly)I mention this, because although these are great for people who sew regularly, as they are strong and well made needles that will last a lot of sewing projects, this set is also great for beginners, uni students, and people like me who dread the prospect but need them anyway.The set is in a cardboard backed packaging, however inside is a sturdy plastic box that contains the needles.All the sizes are separated by raised pockets inside this plastic box, and although the back of the box is blue the front is clear so you can easily see this is your needle box.The box is also slimline so should easily fit into a sewing box ( do people still have those, my granny had one, it concertina'd out with drawers for various sewing gubbins).I have hot glued a magnet on the back and fix s it to the inside lid if my toolcase, so I always know where they are.Very pleased as all the sizes I need ( bar my leather and sail canvas needles which are also attaching via magnet) and more.Hope this helps.

The item itself is fine, but be very careful opening it. The container has a hole that spins around the edge which allows different needles to fall out.. I did not realise this until it's too late and had a bunch of VERY small VERY sharp needles scattered around.It's my fault but i'm just saying be careful!

I was picking these up in my local supermarket at £2.99 each, so these are excellent value. Very handy for small repairs. It's actually a good length of thread on the needle. I honestly couldn't be without these. I am not a pro, but these definitely make my life a little easier and save money on expensive repairs. Excellent service - delivered very promptly and packaged well. Will buy again.
