Description:
The On-Call Plus II strips are thin strips with chemical reagents wich work with On-Call Plus II and On-Call Plus blood glucose meters to measure glucose concentration on whole blood. Blood is applied to the end tip of the test strip, then it is automatically absorbed into the reaction cell where the reaction takes place. A transient electrical current is formed during the reaction and the blood glucose concentration is calculated based on the electrical current detected by the meter, then the result is shown on the meter display. The meters are calibrated to display plasma equivalent results. For in vitro diagnostic use. Test strips are to be used only outside the body for testing purposes. For self-testing and professional use.

Even though the product description says compatible with the On Call Plus 2, it isn’t. I have received a refund on my first ordered package, the E7 code lead me to believe the code chip was faulty, I ordered another box, the same code displayed on my device, E7. I then read the reviews, by adding two and two together I now believe these are not compatible with the Plus 2. Bolo customer services have refunded me for both orders. Given 5 stars due to Bolo being very efficient with the problems I have experienced.

Ho iniziato ad utilizzare le strisce poco dopo averle ricevute, senza preoccuparmi di controllare la scadenza. Trovavo dei valori di glicemia sensibilmente diversi dai soliti. Ieri ho controllato la scadenza sui tubetti e sulla confezione e ho visto che le strisce sono scadute da più di 1 anno (scadenza 22 giugno 2023 e strisce ricevute il 29 agosto 2024). Mi sembra scandaloso !!!!!
