I like this gel a lot. It gives me decent hold and doesn't feel like it dries out my hair. However, I find the packaging really frustrating. The product is extremely runny, and when you try to scoop some out, half of it slips through your hand. It doesn't make any sense to me that it comes in a jar – surely a bottle would be a better choice?

Not for 4C this Afro hair, this product didn’t do anything to my hair, having used it on a thoroughly washed and conditioned hair. It may be for other soft textured curly hair but certainly not for thick Afro hair. On top of that, it’s expensive as you only get a small tab.Updated review: I have added 2 stars to my initial review and the reason being that, it has left my hair so moisturised and soft for days, the stickiness of the product is gone and my hair feels so soft to touch. Also, it didn’t flake on me at all, and I can feel some coils from underneath my hair when I touch it though not many curls are showing when you look at my hair. Like I said, it may work perfectly for people with slightly looser curly patterns when it comes to curl definition, but for moisture, it’s great even for thick 4C hairs like mine.

Just as described. This is the best curling jelly for my hair, Leaves my hair shiny and hold the curl. Apply to soaking wet hair, scrunch, air dry or diffuse, then scrunch out the crunch. Hair is soft, shiny and curly!
