Honestly I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when considering the price, compared to one of the big DIY stores where I usually get my screws from. Not any more!!! I usually buy bulk cases full of various sizes from said DIY store. Most of the screws get used quite quickly as we are always doing some form of DIY or making things. The longer screws I have lots of as those are the least used. I currently have around 5-6 cases that once were all full of screws. I decided to look on here to see what was available. Initially I ordered one box of one size to try out. The day after they arrived I was back on buying two other sizes. We used 2 boxes over a weekend ( we are finishing building a greenhouse from scratch not shop bought ) these screws have been a godsend. I will no longer by screws from a store, I can refill all the cases I have for probably the cost of two full ones in store. So far we’ve bought 4x boxes, we will certainly be buying many more. Again thank you Bolo for a great service and access to better priced items.

I needed these when I ran out of my own stock and to be honest I didn't expect too much for the price. I used them to make up drawer boxes for a workshop project screwing into 1/2 inch birch ply end and face as just a butt joint with glue or a rebate joint. With the use of a pilot hole they worked very well and gripped tightly enough for the glue to harden and make a secure joint. It is possible to strip out the hole but you can generally tell when you are overtightening. Came well packed and arrived quicker than I would have been able to fit a trip in to the shops to pick some up.

The head on these screws is really really small and not what I wanted so unfortunately i returned them so I can't comment on performance - a more detailed description would be beneficial
