I bought this after having read a couple of really good reviews. I, also, was used to loading up the hard-to-manouevre gun and struggling to get the awful paste like sealer properly around the bath, sink etc, and I'm not the only one, two previous people who had tried to update my bathrooms did the same - abysmal failure! This Unibond is completely different, and fantastic! It's brilliant white, shiny, adhesive (to the bath and sink!) and all I had to do was just use a finger to smooth and fill any remaining cracks and holes. It was so easy to use that I actually (don't tell anyone) went round LOOKING for more things to seal! Everything I tackled looked relatively professional, which is something I never thought I would achieve. Thanks UniBond, I would recommend it to everyone!

I've only used this for a small job around the kitchen sink, but it was great! I mean...it's sealant, it seals stuff. It works. I was worried it would be kind of grey but it's bright white. It dried quickly, but not too quick that I couldn't clean up the excess and neaten things up a bit first. I don't know how it would cope with bigger jobs, but I don't see why not. I'm happy anyway, 5 stars!

I admit I was lazy. I didn't want to buy a normal silicon tube for my gun. I didn't want to go through that emasculating pain of buying a full size one by mistake that doesn't fit in my two-thirds size, toddler gun that a crafty yoot sold me in Wickes. So I bought this. No problem I thought, nip off the top, fire out a bead and smooth it off with a wet finger. How stupid I was. As soon as my moist pinky slid over the newly formed bead it stuck to it like flies on prime dung. I persevered, thinking I wasn't wet enough. But no, things got worse. By the time I was 'done' my fingers came up looking like I'd just pleasured Mr Whippy and the stuff doesn't come off... I had to spray on WD40.... so the end result? Bead looks like a trail of ants had a spontaneous conga over it, I smell like a bad batch of lynx Africa and my wife wonders why I've spent 4 hours in the bathroom.

Very difficult to squeeze the product right in correct position, so the result is uneven compared to using a normal gun.

Not as easy to use and very messy so have cloths handy. Does the job well once laid- but wear old clothes as cannot remove traces even after several washes

Needed it to seal a slight gap in parts between the bottom of the carpet door strip in the hallway and the wet room as the floor is slightly uneven under the door. For if the water splashed a lot, usually when I forgot to pull the curtain across, the water sometimes leaked out and wet the hallway carpet. I applied it late yesterday afternoon and in a well ventilated area it had gone off fully when I checked about 6 AM, or roughly fourteen hours later. Splashed water near where the gap had been the worst and watched while it ran up to the strip and left it for ten minutes, normally goes through immediately, but the carpet remained dry so job done.It was very easy to use and I had little mess as I always use disposable gloves when doing anything like this and with a slightly damp cloth handy to wipe up as I went along wherever I had been a bit generous applying it I ended up with a smooth finish after just a few minutes of work. This morning there were a few dried smears on the carpet strip which I had missed yesterday when doing it but they came off by simply rubbing with a finger.
