I brought this for my VW golf mk5 gti and it fits perfectly. It’s super easy to fit. 3 bolts to undo, pull old one off, put new one in and bolt it back together. You’re going to want to have a breaker bar or something with leverage to undo the main dog bone mount bolt.WARNING: Take note of the bolts going into the gearbox as they are 2 different lengths and can damage your gearbox if you put them back in the wrong order.

This does NOT fit the Golf MK5, even though Bolo said it would fit. Mine is a 2008 1.4 petrol (80hp).Very disappointed, it's not about the money, but the time wasted taking the old one out and putting it back as this one doesn't fit.Do not order if you've got the same car!

If you have a 6 speed manual transmision (7 Inc reverse) then this isn't the part for you as I found out. I can't knock Bolo service, just small detail of different gearboxes attached to CAXA engines require diffenent mounts. Return done with no issue at all.

My lower mount was tired and allowing the engine to knock on acceleration.Decided to change it and go for this Febi item as the OEM version was quite a lot more in cost......I replaced the bolts with genuine items, as they were stretch bolts.After getting it delivered, I noticed that the central bush was not voided like the original , but a solid rubber bush with is a nice little upgrade and will control the engine movement a lot better.I also noticed that the location of the OEM part numbers on my original matched the same location as the FEBI........but they were mostly grinded off, which makes me think that Febi supply VW which is not unheard of.All in all, very happy with the purchase and it is doing its job very well, and highly recommend.

Good quality product, as expected from the OEM manufacturer of these parts (just without the VW Audi stamp). Definitely reccomend buying this as apposed to paying "genuine" prices.
